Get Your Free Trial of Kids Email Today! Just in Time for Back to School!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Everyone gets the option to try it free!
When the kids head back to school (and I know some of them already have started back!), a lot of them are going to have smart phones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic devices. Even in grade school, I know this to be true. So naturally one of the ways kids will think of to talk, get messages across, etc. is via e-mail. Though effective, e-mail is not always the safest option (think of the amounts of spam you get. Some of it is downright disturbing, and though we just hit delete, kids can be a bit more curious).

KidsEmail is an alternative place from the norm, to get a secure e-mail specifically for children.

With the introduction of KidsEmail, children are able to learn the ins and outs of e-mail and do so in a protected, safe environment.

Best thing? It's free to try it, so why not? Everyone gets the chance to use it for 30 days, risk-free, for absolutely no charge (and no credit card information required!). After that it runs $2.99 a month if you subscribe annually, or $4.95 a month if you pay as you go. It can be used on Android, iOS, and Web platforms.

Registration is easy. Visit www.kidsemail.com to create a free trial for your child. Enter a valid adult e-mail because you're going to need to confirm to get your parental controls. Once you get them you can set up an account for an older or younger child, depending on their age(s) and your preferences as a parent. This is great too, having the two different options, because it is an account that can actually grow with your child. You can switch back and forth between the two formats at will.

Other options include but are not limited to, a spam filter, offensive word filter, photo and link removal removal, attachments control, block senders, a  tracking GPS, etc. You can also use a time filter to allow/restrict your children's access during certain times of the day or night.

Kids E-mail has already won many awards and it even comes as a pre-loaded option on my popular kids' devices, such as the Klick N Kids Tablet II, the Kurio Xtreme, and the Kurio phone for kids.

I like that KidsEmail has put some thought into creating a way to keep kids safe, while still allowing them the option to use e-mail.

  29. Email is almost mandatory thanks to the way schools distribute not only notices but also homework these days. But so much spam can and does filter through emails that I am glad they figured out a way to keep the kids safe (and the parents are able to monitor)
