Encourage Active Sitting! Kids Kore Wobble Chair #Giveaway

Kid Kore Wobble Chair, unassembled
Yeah...it's that easy to put together!

What is that? It's all kinds of fun in a simple piece of furniture! Introducing the Kids Kore Wobble Chair from One Step Ahead.

Because kids aren't meant to just sit still, One Step Ahead has created this chair that allows them to spin, wobble, fidget, and rock at will, without anyone giving them 'the look.' In addition, the chair helps children strengthen their back and core muscles.

This chair is a cinch to put together, comes in 9 different colors, and is recommended for children ages 4-12, up to 200 lbs. It measures 14" high with an 11" diameter when built. There is also a toddler version available, if you're looking for something similar for the littler ones.

Great for children with ADHD, classrooms, lounging at home, etc. Let the kids release energy while still getting their work/tasks done. This chair encourages active sitting.

Be sure to visit the website. One Step Ahead is going to amaze you with their high quality, very versatile items. I've known about them for a long time, and they still continue to astound me (in a very good way). You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Do they have one for adults? I know someone who would benefit from something look this.
Is there a height limit on the kids one?

Jamie Tomkins said...

How neat - I thought it was a "Sit 'N Spin" at first!! I love how this can help with concentration - do they have an adult size? :)

I love this - for myself! I need to find an adult version of this. I'm at the computer all day.

My little one has major focus issues, so I bet something like this would be great for him. He probably can't have it at school, but at home it would be fun for him.

I wish this had been around for my daughter. She has ADHD and had the worst time sitting still.

This does sound like a good chair for those children who can not sit still for long periods of time--or even for those that can but actually shouldn't

Pat Hatt said...

Now that would be fun, keep kids moving as they get stuff done

Valerie said...

What a neat chair for little ones. They always wanted to sit this way on regular chairs so I am sure this would have been a huge hit with my own when they were little.

Terri B said...

My granddaughter could really use this for her ADHD. She has so much trouble in the class room because she jumps out of her chair and wants to stand all day. I hope I have the chance to review one of these at some point because it if works, there are several in her class that the school should by these for. And that's just in her class. Other classes, other students with the same problems.

They have similar seats like these at our rec center in the kid's gaming area. The want the kids still moving while sitting in front of the screen, so they put about 4 of these chairs in there. The kids really seem to enjoy them, too!

My little girl has Hypotonia and I bet a chair like this would help with our daily struggles of finding new and fun ways of working her core muscles as well as the ones in her legs!
I'm also loving a lot of their other products like the E-Z Turn Door Knob Covers for the same reason, because she can't turn door handles, due to not getting a good grip.
