Responsible Picnicking with Repurpose

Products created from plants? That's amazing, and it's awesome, and it's exactly what Repurpose does with every single product they make for your table.

With summer about to be in full swing, and families everywhere taking to parks, picnic zones, and even backyards for group dining and fun, the Repurpose line is one that is sure to please. From cups to plates to eating utensils, this company really does offer it all.

Repurpose makes their products exclusively from plants, not petroleum, and they are on a mission to reduce the amount of plastics in our environment, offering high quality, durable, and guilt-free renewable alternatives. It gets better...unlike traditional plastic or even paper items, all Repurpose products are 100% compostable in an industrial composter.

All Repurpose products are BPA-free, chlorine-free, petroleum-free, and use only soy-based inks. Now that I know about them, I can't imagine using anything else. You can purchase them at Safeway, Albertsons, Vons, and online at RepurposeCompostables.com
You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

That is so cool! We have a garden, and we compost. I wonder if these would break down in our composter.

And the price is very high for this stuff. Very. Great idea if folks have that kind of money.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

This is a great idea, definitely helps cut down on the amount of junk going back into landfills. I like that they're free of chemicals, too.

I don't have those stores around me, but I'm going to look at their site to see if they have them somewhere else. I love how they are so natural!

I love that they are 100% recyclable products. I'd rather bring reusable water bottles and wrap stuff up in cloth bags.

Although this line of compostable products is not available at a store in my neck of the woods, I think this is a good option for the environment.

I don't know if these are available in my area. I will be looking for them because it's time for us to stock up on picnic supplies.

Thank you for sharing these products and making me aware of them. As the human race we really have to do better reducing, reusing and recycling if we want a planet to pass on to our childrens children.

Good plan to keep this eco-friendly. We almost always pack some heavy plastic plates that we wash and re-use.

The fact that they are made of plants makes them perfect in my mind. Seriously that will save on the landfills big time. There should be no other picnic wear.
