Support Artisans All Over the Globe and Help Encourage Fair Trade with GlobedIn

Disclosure: I received samples to help facilitate the review. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

There are so many subscription services available right now, surely one to please everyone. For those of you who have a love for artisans, and a soft spot for Fair Trade, this is definitely the subscription box for you.

GlobeIn is the largest online market for discovering products from other cultures. Each month they delight subscribers with a limited edition box that carries a specific theme. This month the theme was "Picnic" and in the box came a sunscreen stick, a Bento box, cloth napkins in a holder, and organic mango treats. All was packed neatly inside of a handwoven palm-leaf basket with a lid.

This is the Picnic Theme subscription for this month.
It also included Unscented Sunstick, which is not pictured here.

The palm-leaf basket was nice and thin, yet very sturdy and the Bento
fit perfectly inside of it!

It has a nice fitting lid for for the top of it too.

I liked everything in the basket, and found all of the items to be very useful. What I loved most though, was the Palm-Leaf Basket. Specific to the Mexican origin of Oaxaca, this basket was made with natural dye and it was hand-woven. You can learn more about the process and the artisan on the website for this one. I liked it because I thought it was so pretty (nothing wrong with admitting that, right?). :)

Tri-Bento Box

The Tri-Bento Box opens into three different sections, all that stack vertically and seal with a hefty clip on the top. It is made of stainless steel, ensuring ECO reliability and sustainability. AND it allows you to take a three-course meal with you on the go. Hubby says he's taking it to work, so this will be our first experience with Bento and I'm excited. We're overdue.

Cloth Napkins obtained via Fair Trade with artisans in the Gujarat desert region.

The napkins were made by artists in the Gujarat Desert Region, and obtained by GlobeIn via Fair Trade practies. The purchase of these whimsical hand-painted cloth napkins helps artists not only make a living within their region, but it also aids in allowing a process of creation that is specific to a culture to remain in existence. I'm thinking yeah, that's a pretty big deal. The painting process is done with wooden blocks, screens, and wax-resistant dyeing.

A surprise twist of Buriti (sourced from the Amazon)
is included in this SPF 30 unscented sunstick.

The Unscented Sunstick holds an SPF of 30, comes in a convenient carry-along tube, and is crafted from Jojoba, Coconut, Avocado, and Buriti (sourced from the Amazon). It contains a rich concentration of antioxidants and possesses a photo-protective quality and elastic nature that helps soothe dry skin and fight aging.

Mango is chock full of vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and fiber.

The Kopali Organics Mango, full of vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and fiber is hand-picked, dried and crafted in pure goodness. This energy-boosting snack helps provide a natural burst of energy to you with a kick of flavor that's hard to resist. It's a snack you can have or share that you can feel 100% good about, in every way.

All in all, a pretty delightful subscription selection for the month of April, wouldn't you say? Please know this is just a small sampling of all GlobeIn has to offer. You can purchase a subscription box like this one, for yourself or a friend, or you can just outright go shopping on the site. The selection is plentiful, gorgeous, and purchases help others all around the world in more ways than you can begin to imagine.

Learn more by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and/or Instagram.

Rosey, hi hon! You know those are great products. Thanks for enlightening me. You know, I am so happy to hear you say that there are many linkers that don't hop off to another blog. Isn't that the point? I hop all over the place and only link to three blogs per post. I can't do more than that, that's for dang sure. Oh well, to each their own. LOL ♥

I love boxes like this and it's great that this one has a good ethos behind it. I don't think I'd buy it though as I'm not sure I'd use the things included and it'd just be a waste for me.
