Let Tenantify Do the Verifying: Always Free for the Landlord!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post.

If you are a property owner who rents, one thing you know for sure is that getting and verifying quality references from your tenants is touch-and-go. No two forms for identifying work or income are the same, and they can be ambiguous, or even downright confusing. Helping relieve you of the research headaches, or even more importantly, the authenticity of such documents, Tenantify will do the work for you. The best part, if you're the landlord, they do it for free. Tenants are charged after the reports are returned.

The cost is $10 for Employment Verification, $10 for Income Verification, or $15 for the two. Reports have a one-business-day turnaround time.

Tenantify is meant to empower the landlord and help build trust between him/her and the renter. Though a credit check is common when it comes to renting, those provided by the larger credit bureaus (most commonly used) do not offer current information. With Tenantify, a landlord will know if a person trying to rent is currently employed, of if they  have a steady stream of income coming in.

Extreme care is taken to protect all personal information obtained.

Tenantify: One day turnaround time. Always free for the landlord!

If you are a landlord, or know someone who is, this is news you're going to want to know and share. The peace of mind from such a service, for a property owner, can be immeasurable.

You can learn more about  Tenantify by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

  2. Wow this is neat! We rent but I hope to in the future own and possibly have a rental property or two! This would be wonderful!

  3. Excellent idea. You hear so many war stories about people who rent. It's essential to get a good renter.

  4. I don't rent out any properties so this would not help me at all. Personally I am not sure if I would be willing to pay a landlord money to do a check on me--with a co-op which I am in the bank does it. How would I know if I could trust the owner? That he/she would not use sensitive information for nefarious purposes?

  5. Wow this is big.. I did not know about this and will most likely use for the future. Hopefully no time soon .. saying our tenant is satisfied and wants to stay.

  31. This sounds like a great resource for landlords! I can't imagine how difficult it must be to get good renters. I'm so glad we bought a house last year...no more landlord/renter drama for us!

  33. Thank you so much for sharing. I wish my landlord had of used this service before renting out to my neighbor. As it stands, both of us are unhappy over his mistake.

  34. I wish this was available for everyone so we can get truthful verification from Tenants. My father is in the Business and so much people lie just to get a place they know they cant pay for

  39. I think this is a great service I live in a two bedroom apartment and before the new owners took over they just let anyone move in. It would give comfort knowing everyone passed a background check.

    ReplyDelete

  47. I watch a lot of HGTV so I'm pretty much a real estate expert (you can tell I'm kidding, right?). I would love an income property to offset the mortgage. It's a long-term goal, but I need to keep this service in mind for when we get there.

It's not familiar yet in my country but I am sure it will soon :)

  50. I will share this with friends who rent their property. They had issues with former tenants

    ReplyDelete
  51. This would have been much better than paying a real estate agent to do this. But thankfully we no longer have our rental

    ReplyDelete
  52. We were scammed before trying to rent a place. Now, we are really gun shy. But I bet it is just as scary for those trying to rent to someone.

    ReplyDelete
  53. This is a great idea. I'll have to remember this site if I ever decide to rent out our house. An income property would be a great asset to have one of these days. I'm like Crystal, I love HGTV and have dreamed of flipping a house. Except, with my back and Fibromyalgia that dream is on permanent hold unless I have money flowing out my ears and can hire the right contractors to do the entire thing whole I supervise.

  54. A very good idea! My mom rents out a room, and I know it's important for her to do background checks, but she is somewhat lax with that. Now I can do it for her!

    ReplyDelete
