Wordless Wednesday: Technology

This was taken in our hotel room over the holiday break.
All four of them were checking out their electronic devices (phones, DS, what have you).
I found it amusing.

  3. Yup, same thing in our house, too. My two got iTouches for Christmas from Nana and Papa, so if it's not those, they are on their Kindles or 3DS's. And Chris is ALWAYS on his kindle or phone.

    1. Between the two iPhones, the kindle and our iPad, it's rare that someone isn't on a device. I imagine many families are this way.

  15. The only time I say anything is at dinnertime. We eat together and talk. After dinner you can do whatever. It works wonderfully.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  16. Isn't it crazy how caught up we get in our electronic devices. Kids barely have to talk to each other anymore.

  17. Isn't it funny that we just can't stray very far from our cell phones or other techy things.

  18. Kiddo got a Leap Pad this year and he spent hours figuring it out when he opened it.

  20. Technology. I love it more than almost anything on this planet. I can play just about every video game known to man on my phone thanks to emulators. It's never been a better time to be a geek.

  49. What's just as funny is texting your spouse in the same room so your kids don't hear your conversation.

  50. That seems to be the norm these days,

  59. Kiddo doesn't have any electronics. Her father and I just don't see a need for it. I know she plays a few games here and there. My husband is the one always on the phone. I keep telling him his neck is going to stick in the down position from always looking at his phone.

  63. It's a funny world we live in these days. I don't think I can walk into a room anywhere these days without somebody having an electronic device. If they aren't using it, it's definitely on their person :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. I think that is a common sight in most families these days. Good thing my kids are creative, because sometimes they actually put the technology down to draw and paint. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  65. It is amazing that we can all be together yet apart! Love that you captured this and it is all part of our present and history!
