Wordless Wednesday: Technology

This was taken in our hotel room over the holiday break.
All four of them were checking out their electronic devices (phones, DS, what have you).
I found it amusing.

Yup, same thing in our house, too. My two got iTouches for Christmas from Nana and Papa, so if it's not those, they are on their Kindles or 3DS's. And Chris is ALWAYS on his kindle or phone.

Hey Rosey gal, thanks for stopping by...yes these days you don't find people talking just their face buried into some sort of electronic device. Yes it is amusing as heck when you see everyone with their face in something or other. LOL Have a great day! HUGS

That could be my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only time I say anything is at dinnertime. We eat together and talk. After dinner you can do whatever. It works wonderfully.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

Isn't it crazy how caught up we get in our electronic devices. Kids barely have to talk to each other anymore.

Isn't it funny that we just can't stray very far from our cell phones or other techy things.

Kiddo got a Leap Pad this year and he spent hours figuring it out when he opened it.

That is pretty funny. We all do it though.

Technology. I love it more than almost anything on this planet. I can play just about every video game known to man on my phone thanks to emulators. It's never been a better time to be a geek.

Hilary Melton-Butcher said...

Hi Rosey .. techie kids - they're happy .. love the photo .. cheers Hilary

I'm a tech fiend. If it's electronic, I'm super interested in it.

No one is ever bored as long as there's an electronic device around :)

Mary O'Malley said...

Technology, you gotta love it. It's amazing to think at one point nobody had a cell phone. Still at least they're all hanging out together on the respective devices. :]

Hilarious. It often looks like that in our house as well!

The family that texts together, stays together! They could have all been separate from each other, this is better!

We don't talk to each other any more - we've already said everything in texts, emails, and IM's. AAARRRGGGHHH!

This is a great photo. At least they are all sitting together. It certainly is a different world then we grew up in.

Heather Jones said...

What's just as funny is texting your spouse in the same room so your kids don't hear your conversation.

jaime said...

Between the two iPhones, the kindle and our iPad, it's rare that someone isn't on a device. I imagine many families are this way.

So close, and yet so far.

I am the worst for this... I really have to work hard to put my phone away while I am in the presence of people... especially now where I am trying to be more present in my life... I do love technology though.. ;)

I love the comment you left me about how we need to bloom where we are... that is something I am working on...it is a really great way of thinking Rosey... Have a lovely day xox

Kiddo doesn't have any electronics. Her father and I just don't see a need for it. I know she plays a few games here and there. My husband is the one always on the phone. I keep telling him his neck is going to stick in the down position from always looking at his phone.

It's a funny world we live in these days. I don't think I can walk into a room anywhere these days without somebody having an electronic device. If they aren't using it, it's definitely on their person :)

Casa Vilora Interiors said...

I think that is a common sight in most families these days. Good thing my kids are creative, because sometimes they actually put the technology down to draw and paint. Lol
