Keep Your Air Fresh w/the Febreze Air Purifier (with #giveaway)

Disclosure: Mail4Rosey did not receive compensation to help promote this giveaway and is not responsible for prize delivery.

The holidays are over, but that doesn't mean people aren't going to show up from time-to-time unannounced and ready to visit. While we don't mind at all when friends or family unexpectedly come to call, we do want to make sure we're always ready for the 'just in case.' One way to do that, is with the Febreze Air Purifier.

The visually appealing design allows this little beauty to fit right in to most any room design, and it is slim enough too, that it is not going to take up too much unnecessary room. I have never tried one of these myself, but I do love that it has a control dial that allows you to decide how much, if any, of the light scent you want released; all while removing air impurities from the room.

Julie Edelman from Accidental Housewife also notes the benefit of being able to use one of the Febreze Air Purifiers if you have pets.

Julie Edelman Tip on Embarrassing Pet Odors:

We love our furry friends, but we're not so fond of the embarrassing pet odor that they leave around the house--from kitty litter to pet mishaps to wet dog smell. Try using the Febreze Air Purifier to reduce odors and add a fresh, clean scent back into the air.

There are many other tips and ways to get the best kind of use out of the Febreze air purifier, and I think I might be picking one up for me, as a quick and easy way to keep the air clean in my house. That way when unexpected guests do show up, I'm geared up and ready to go.

What household cleaning tip do you have to share?

One lucky winner gets a Febreze Air Purifier to call their own. US entrants only.

  1. I know some air purifiers you have to watch, as the last one we had, forget what it was, made the cats hurl every other hour and gave me a headache. So yeah, pet smell beats that any day haha

  3. When messes happen, clean them up right away!

  4. In the kitchen circle your way around: Always begin on the right side of your stove, then move clockwise around the room. The stove is typically the dirtiest part of the kitchen, so ending with it keeps you from spreading dirt and grease. (First, soak drip pans and knobs in warm soapy water. By the time you've worked your way around, they’ll be easier to clean.)

  6. I use ammonia "fumes" to clean the burner covers on my range. Just seal them in a ziplock with 1/4 cup of ammonia for each one. Let sit overnight and they clean up so much easier!

  8. My dogs are very allergic to the Febreze spray, but I wonder if this one would cause ill effects. I have wanted a purifier for some time, and I like the looks of this one.

  9. Like that you can moderate how much (if any) of the Febreze pong you release. It upsets my tummy. Big time. Threatening an even worse smell to add to the mix.

  28. Very cool that Febreze came out with an air purifier. I am a huge fan of their products. I think this unit fits in just perfectly with their line. My household tip is to use an old pillowcase to easily clean a dusty ceiling fan. It helps prevent the spread of dusty particles because they fall inside of the pillowcase.

  31. I spot mop small spills and sticky places from the kids and pet daily. That way when it's time to mop the entire floor there is no need to scrub stuck on messes.

  32. Keep your oven clean by lining the bottom with a nonstick oven liner. It can be wiped with a paper towel, put in the dishwasher, and reused over and over.

  33. My tip would be is you can save money and to have a cleaning product that doesn't have all the chemicals. Do half and half solution of blue dawn dish detergent and vinegar with a little baking soda. I use it for everything but works especially well on soap scum.

  34. I have learned when I do the cooking, to clean up as I go. I tend to be a messy cook and hate cleaning up after.
