Wordless Wednesday with Santa, Santa, Santa, and well...Santa ;)

Seems like everywhere we've been lately, there's a Santa!
No wonder my son has authenticity questions. ;)

Santa #1: The Mall Santa

Santa #2: The church Christmas Party Santa
That must be Mrs. Clause's daughter...either that or she found some really good hair dye. ;)

Santa #3: Breakfast with Santa
(that's a firefighter under there... we saw him afterwards
at the tour of the fire station ;) ).

Santa #4: The Cub Scout Christmas Party
There's a derby car in that gift box. ;)

Hi Rosey .. not surprised about the authenticity question ... but your son looks happy ... lovely photos for the album record ... enjoy the continuing seasonal ventures ... cheers Hilary

When authenticity questions came from the kidling I told her that many people helped a busy Santa, sometimes by 'being' Santa in the world. She loved that concept so much that she gathered up some friends so they could make Christmas-y costumes, practice songs... and I chauffered them to area nursing homes so they could 'be' Santa for the residents. Then again, your little guy's smiles could make Santa grinchy-green with envy!

How cute does he look with all the different Santa's Rosey... it can be a dilemma especially when children get to a certain age... enjoy the upcoming holidays xox

Janine Huldie said...

Love all the Santa pics and even at 4 Lily realized that the Santa she saw at the mall didn't have glasses while another one did and had questions, too.

stevebethere said...

He does look cute in each photo and pleased too, I had to laugh at the authenticity he must have thought wow Santa gets about a bit heheh!

I think Mrs Clause daughter definitely dyed it LOL

Have a quadruple santatastic week Rosey :-)

Masshole Mommy said...

LOL, your son is so cute and it's hilarious that he hasn't noticed that each Santa looks entirely different from the other one ;)

OOOhhh what did you tell him? My son saw a parade of Santas in motorcycles. I just said they are all Santa brothers =P

Dropping by from http://pixiedusk.livejournal.com/323666.html

Pat Hatt said...

haha santa #1 and 4 look authentic at least. But yeah have to raise questions

mail4rosey said...

Hi Hilary. He is a social bug, so he is very happy when he's out and about... I hope you're enjoying the pretties that come w/the season too. :)

mail4rosey said...

Aww, kids have such nice hearts. That's why I like them. :)

We used to go to the nursing homes for Girl Scouts. I always liked it. It's nice that you did it on your own!!

mail4rosey said...

I saw where you passed your test on another post, and I've been meaning to get over and congratulate you!! I'm headed that a'way now. :)

mail4rosey said...

It's funny when they DON'T notice, but it's uh-oh time, we they do, hahaha

mail4rosey said...

Santa's def. got a semi-metamorphosis thing going on there. ;)

Happy WW to you! :)

mail4rosey said...

He hasn't noticed in years past, this year he's a'noticing. I think it's going to be our last year of Santa fun. :)

Anonymous said...

;) I am sure the kid had fun meeting 4 different Santas!

mail4rosey said...

I told him Santa's busy directing the elves making toys, so he has to have helpers. ;) Now my son's trying to figure out which are 'really' helpers, and which are just people dressed up in costume. The firefighter was easy to guess...he was ultra kind to volunteer to be Santa, but it was def. obvious that he wasn't a real deal. ;)

mail4rosey said...

#2 and #3 are YOUNG Santa Clause's, for sure. hahaha

mail4rosey said...

If Santa's around, that means it's at least festive, so you're right, he didn't mind a bit. ;)

Rena McDaniel said...

Poor kid no wonder he is so confused they are all "Santas" all look differently. I always had this problem when my kids were little too.

mail4rosey said...

Santa def. looks different. The young Santa Clause's crack me up. ;)

Heather Jones said...

Santas 1 and 4 look the most real to me. My son has already seen one Santa this season and we are taking him on a North Pole adventure here pretty soon. I wonder if he'll notice the difference.

mail4rosey said...

A North Pole adventure sounds fun!!

Kristi Maloney said...

Very cute - every picture with Santa - and wow that's a lot of Santa's!!! We ran into one Santa and Ryan actually sat on his lap. ;)

Heather @ Girl Gone Mom said...

We are so late visiting Santa at the mall but we did to a train ride with Santa last weekend. He wasn't a great Santa though.

mail4rosey said...

lol, my son did for the first picture...the ones after that he said he wanted to sit beside Santa. Stranger Danger, lol, he's def. suspecting Santa's not the real deal. ;)

mail4rosey said...

It's hard sometimes, to find a Santa who gets into the role. It's fun though when you do. Our Cub Scout Santa was awesome... one of the others (I'll be nice and not say which) was def. not into the gig. ;)

Christy Maurer said...

It sure looks like he is having fun with all of the different Santas! :) We all know the real Santa is working hard right now.

Sandee said...

There are a lot of Santa's aren't there. I never really thought about it as my kids are grown. Yep, I'm guessing the little ones do wonder about all these Santa's.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

Jen said...

These are all great photos! :)

Lisa @ Two Bears Farm said...

All of these pictures turned out so cute!

Kristen Campbell said...

What a cutie! You MIGHT be able to pull off the Santa thing one more year?!

~ Noelle said...

Awe - what a great bunch of pictures!
Broxton was mentioning the Santa's everywhere...I pointed out the fact that Santa is so busy, so he has to be in many different places... Sooooooooooo He has his helpers help to go and see all the kids ;)

Carla said...

He looks so cute. We haven't seen Santa yet. Well, we saw him from a distance at Walt Disney World, but we didn't want to wait in that line when there were other characters to meet that we can't just go see in our own mall. :)

Alex J. Cavanaugh said...

And they all look different. Did that confuse your son?

Ruchira Khanna said...

I love Santa's and don't mind clicking pix with him even today :))

Loved the pix, Rosey :)

thanks for linking up with Abracabadra
ho ho ho

Monica Marino said...

Oh my goodness! He is getting so big Rosey! So glad that he is able to see so much Christmas magic in so many places. And I imagine that you are amazing at answering his questions. If you have any tips - please send them my way! Almost seven is a tricky age but I'm grateful to have believers at home. xxx

Santa has such a big job he needs a LOT of help. Love your boy's smiles.

Susan Zutautas said...

My sons always questioned the amount of Santas :)

Cascia Talbert said...

That is a lot of Santas! We haven't visited Santa yet.

Tough Cookie Mommy said...

It's funny that my sons have never questioned the over abundance of Santas. I always say, the more the merrier.

(Terry) My Journey With Candida said...

That is a lot of Santa's. Are used to tell my daughter they were helpers

Lot's of great pics.

He looks so happy to be with santa, adorable

Ben Butler said...

OMG. The mall Santa. I can see that I'll never have to look for seasonal work when I get older. He looks just like me!

Charli Mills said...

Lots of Santas!

Marie Moody said...

Well, I guess he's met a lot of Santa's helpers. The real Santa never does the mall or parties. He's much to busy for that. ~wink-wink~nudge-nudge~

Susan Kane said...

We tell the gr-kids that those Santas are in the employ of the real Santa, since he is too busy to be everywhere.

Liz Mays said...

So does he say anything about how Santa always looks a bit different? I hope not!

Manzanita said...

Looks like the young one has the Santa situation pretty well in hand this year. He has back-up's for his back-ups. LOL

Michelle Martinka said...

I remember telling my mother that one of the Santas I'd seen had a fake bread. She reminded me that Santa had elves and sometimes they needed to come help him because he was busy... I believed it for a year or two. He looks happy, though!

indah nuria Savitri said...

look at all those photos...so cuteeee :)..how time flew and look at your boy now..happy WW..

Dawn Rae said...

Isn't that great when kids get to that age... "mommy, why is that Santa's beard half crooked now? It was fine at the mall". haha.

Nancy Lustri said...

Your son is ADORABLE! I can see why he would be questioning all the Santa helpers! Hee-hee Loved the pics. Enjoy your little guy - They grow too fast! Merry Christmas!

Binky said...

There seems to be a lot of Santa clones around every December.

Heather Jones said...

Yes, last year we did the Polar Express, this year he actually gets to visit the North Pole and make a toy in Santa's workshop! :)

Stefany T said...

Well hello Santa!!! Your son looks so cute. My son loved Christmas with the scouts... he always got his derby car then too.

Maggie King said...

That must be santas daughter or he has some explaining to do! Lol!

Couponing Away Debt said...

LOL! He looks happy. We have had our fair share of different Santas too.

Brian Miller said...

nice...we went by the mall the other day and it was bitter sweat not to visit santa this year...considering the line was a couple hundred people long...ha....cute pics...

Theresa Mahoney said...

I am to the point where I am forcing my kids to sit on Santa's lap. We saw one over the weekend and have 2 more scheduled for this weekend. They moan and groan about doing it, but I think they secretly enjoy it ;)

calichristy2 said...

omgosh that is so funny I remember as a child myself, never noticing all the different santas either:)

ANNIE M said...

Haha poor kids see Santa so often nowadays. I used to work for Santa so I know the kids' pain :P

Jessica Sweeney said...

Ha ha! That is awesome (all very cute photos, too)! I think I have my son's photo with at least 4 Santas from last year. This year, he's seen two so far, and has been asking to see the Home Depot Santa. :)

Teresa Moody said...

My kids always have been afraid of Santas. Lol. Those are cute photos!

LifeAsAConvert said...

We have not seen any Santas this year. Looks like they are all where you live!

Farrah said...

My 5 year old told me that the Santa she met wasn't real because the real Santa only comes out when kids are sleeping. LOL

Eliz Obih-Frank said...

This is hysterical. Half way through, I could see the twinkle in your son's eyes saying: Who do they think they're fooling? Haha!

Indrani said...

Very cute series! I can feel the festive air!
Happy WW!

How fun and funny! My son will meet the first Santa tonight.. a bit scarce them in the desert hehhe

Pics came out great. You need to get a huge frame and post each pics lol.

mail4rosey said...

That's a perfect WW post (you posing with Santa), Ruchira. :) :) :)

mail4rosey said...

The light is definitely on, when we saw Santa #2, he said 'so the other Santa we saw isn't real?' lol Prolly our last year of Santa magic. ;)

mail4rosey said...

That's the Santa he liked best...probably because that Santa had a derby car gift for all of the kids. ;)

mail4rosey said...

Seriously... she needed a white wig or something, hahaha

mail4rosey said...

I didn't know HD had a Santa! I don't think ours does.

mail4rosey said...

I saw your post this morning, Maria... had to get my Piper 'snoot fix.' She's getting big! And she's cute as can be too. :)
