I'm always in awe and respect of our military men and women. My son has had more than one role in the military (he is still active) including Caisson (he is on a horse above). The number of funerals they perform is humbling. No doubt about it, that's a hard job.
I also have a husband who actively served, and many other members of the family, on my side and his, who served as well. But even if I didn't, I would respect the men and women who risk/risked everything to protect our freedom and our country.
Honoring our Veterans Today.
Well put Rosey, and many thanks to the many members of your family who serve/d.
