Shredded Kale Salad

Let me tell you what I'm cooking up in my new Green Earth Frying Pan by Ozeri!

This pan has only been in our house for a short time, and I have already used it half a dozen times. Today I used it to make my Kale Salad for lunch. This salad is packed full of yummy deliciousness, and since I was outside picking up the yard in the cold, I wanted a warm salad. This one hit the spot.

100% PTFE and PFOA free ceramic non-stick coating
8" Green Earth Frying Pan by Ozeri
Available for purchase at Amazon.

The Ozeri is nice and weighty, so I don't have to worry about it tipping over while I'm cooking. It also has a handle that is chunky and solid. The handle is perfectly tight too, which makes me happy. I hate a wobbly handle, and if a pan has one, I won't use it. The best thing about the pan so far though, is not having to use olive oil, butter, or spray to make it non-stick. The Ozeri pan uses an ultra-safe ceramic coating that is 100% PTFE and PFOA-free. That means it delivers non-stick performance with no harmful fumes or toxins being released when it gets hot.

This 8" pan was the perfect size for making homemade cranberry sauce!
In addition to my warm salad, I have also used my pan for making homemade cranberry sauce with pineapples and walnuts (for Thanksgiving dinner)...

Nothing at all in the pan (but the eggs) & they flipped like a dream!
No sticking!
and for hubby's morning eggs. The ceramic no-stick required nothing at all in the pan to flip the eggs with ease, and there was no sticking. Zero, nada, zilch, zip. Hurrah!

We have a dishwasher, but I don't use it (crazy, I know), so this pan will only be hand-washed here. That is what I would recommend if you get it too. I haven't had it long enough to talk about longevity, but so far, so good....we're really loving our new Ozeri pan.

You can learn more about it by visiting the product on Amazon. It's on sale right now for just $22.00.

  2. I hear you on the wobbly handle front. A deal breaker for me.
This looks good - but I refuse to buy any more kitchen implements until I can convince the other resident to get rid of some that we don't use.
