elph band & $125 Target Gift Card #Giveaway

Disclosure: Mail4Rosey was not compensated to help promote this giveaway and is not responsible for prize delivery.

I love the idea of an elph band. Of course you think your child is never going to get lost, but it's always better to be safe than sorry. Big crowds especially, can be overwhelming, and it only takes a second! The elph band is a very easy way to add an extra measure of security, and you can put whatever information you want to on it (even just a phone number would be great!).

ElphBandGiveaway

Welcome to the ELPH Band Giveaway Event! Mom Powered Media, ELPH Band, and fantastic group of amazing bloggers have come together to bring you this event, just in time for Halloween. Hosted by: Mom Powered Media Sponsored by: ELPH Band The ELPH Band is a link to your identifying information, such as your address, parent or guardian cell phone numbers and any other information you think is necessary, including medical conditions or drug allergies your child may have. Whether you're traveling to a theme park, zoo, park, a crowded festival or even the mall, the ELPH Band can help find your child in the event he/she gets separated from you. It only takes one second for a child to disappear out of your sight.

ElphBand_Call

The ELPH band is a non-toxic, durable, silicone wristband. It provides an immediate, highly visible form of identification with clear instructions directly on the band. It's easy to use with options to dial in or scan the QR code. ELPH Band does not put personal information, such as the child's name or phone number where people can see it when it isn't needed. What does ELPH stand for? Easy Lookup to Phone Home If your child get's separated from you, all your child needs to do is show an adult his/her ELPH band. That adult can then call the 800# or scan the QR code to get in touch with you to reunite your child with you! It's that simple! Once the QR code is scanned on a smartphone, a screen similar to the one below will pop up for them to get in touch with you.

ElphBand_Phone

To set up your ELPH band you will register it on a computer, or by scanning the QR code yourself and setting it up via your smartphone. Just a few simple questions and you will be registered. Once completed, you will get a text and email alert letting you know the account profile is active, and to verify the information has been entered correctly. ELPH Bands are available in 3 sizes: Toddler (up to 5.75 inches), Child (up to 6.5 inches), and Adult (up to 7.5 inches). They are also available in two colors, Navy or Pink. 5. This is so genius! It's amazing how technology is ever evolving. I remember having to write my phone number on hand in sharpie. Now kids just pop on a band and are good to go!

  8. Since my children are all grown up now I don't have to worry about them getting lost but I do have grandchildren. Noticed that the bands come in Adult size , at the rate I'm going it may not be long before I could use one for myself.
But honestly, these could be a lifesaver for those who have Alzheimer's or dementia.

  12. That is a really good idea. I hope it catches on enough so that good Samaritans know what it is and how to use it. Until enough people know what it is, it won't be much help.

  13. This is an interesting new way of a kind of Amber alert.
I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I do understand the panic of ever losing a child in a crowd.

However not everyone has a smartphone either....

I like that there is an emergency number and not the person's information right out there in the code.

  14. I learned that it stores your child's info discreetly so that people can't see your personal information unless they are trying to help with contacting you and that when you are contacted it provides you with a GPS location of your child.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I like that personal information is not visible. I think this would put parent's minds at ease.

  16. I think it is a great idea. Especially with the identification being private.

  21. I learned that they follow strict security procedures to protect your and your children's private information. I also learned that they offer a toll free number for instances when an internet connection isn't available. Also, you're able to add temporary emergency contact or other info at any time.
