See the young man in the background, waiting outside of the Victoria's Secret? He wasn't stepping one foot inside of that store & he looked visibly relieved when his girlfriend stepped out. Made me laugh. :)
Maybe I am a jerk, but that guy wouldn't last in a relationship with me. If you can't come with me to buy underwear, you aren't going to get to see me in them either. Jason has gone in and bought me some from there all on his own for holiday gifts. Now, I did have to return a few because he bought the wrong size, but he did get credit for trying lol.
The Great Scot is so brave he's even gone in by himself, looking for an Xmas gift for me. He ran into one of his workmates on the same mission and they had such a fine old time that the manager of the store invited them... to never return again. I don't know why, precisely, and hope I never do!
Poor Guy! Let's face it, men can't win for losing in that regard, if they were too eager we'd call him a perv so they tend to not to feel comfortable strolling about in there, can't blame him. Remember folks, that's a sign he was actually raised RIGHT!!! :-)
I'm a big people watcher and sometimes see some of the funniest things. My husband wouldn't be caught dead in Victoria Secret although he will tell you that it's his favorite store!
Oh that's funny! I figured men wouldn't shy away from VS these days. I'm so glad that DH shops with me and for me. He has NO problem going in VS or blousing (from Christmas Vacation) around lingerie shops. :D Happy #WW!
Liz, you don't understand. Going into Victoria's Secret is like walking into a mine field. You cannot make eye contact or even glance at a woman other than your girl in that store. There's just too much that could go wrong.
I used to go to Victoria's Secret all the time, and my hubby enjoyed it so much, because he loves the lotion smells. I don't shop there anymore though.
Exactly! My girlfriend finds this to be hilarious, however. So not only does she attempt to drag me into Victoria's Secret often, she also regularly sends me to get her monthly supplies. She thinks it's the height of hilarity.
I totally agree with that guy. I'm not going into any store that sells women's undergarments period. Even glancing at a good lucking chick in a store like that could lead to swimming in dangerous, dangerous waters.
Yes that is so funny because if I ever go shopping there my husband would never set foot in there either! LOL! Hope you have a great day and enjoy your weekend Rosey.
Honestly I like shopping without my husband :) We are totally different shoppers, I like to buy things and get out and he takes forever to just pick out a pair of shoes. We normally go our separate ways in the mall since it's easier :)
Whenever I go to that store, I always think it is cute when I see a husband or boyfriend shopping with their partner. I think it would be fun to shop together in that store.
That is funny. I could never understand why a person would be embarrassed to walk into a store. They have perfume, makeup, bikini's too. He better stay out of Spencers as they have things, that I think are far more embarrassing in their!
That is too funny! I know a few guys who have no problem with their women shopping at Victoria's Secret, and even encourage it. But they'd never stop in there themselves. They avoid it like the plague!
haha some guys are so cute like that ;)

That's so funny. Travis has gone in with me before.
ReplyDeleteI thought guys loved going in. At least my BF does. Haha!
Deletelol some things are just too scary to venture into. Doesn't bother me though
ReplyDeleteI do recall those days with a fearful,ex of who, would see him in VS shopping! Oh to be young again ;)
ReplyDeleteHa! Just wait until she feels awful and he has to run to the store for Tampons or Midol.
ReplyDeletehttp://joycelansky.blogspot.com/
At least he didn't have to hold her purse!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! It always makes me laugh when guys won't go near some "womanly" department. We have no problem buying underwear for them!
ReplyDeleteThat would have made me laugh too, guys can act so silly about some undergarments... lol ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've seen guys refuse to go into Bath and Body Works, too. It's very funny to me!
DeleteBrave Sir Roger ran away...
ReplyDeleteBig smiles - and thank you.

ReplyDeletePoor guy! I never take the hubby shopping with me. I like taking my time and he's more a get in get out type of due when it comes to shopping!
ReplyDeleteI like this post. Is wordless Wednesday just a day that you post without words and use pictures?
ReplyDeleteI like it!
You're not supposed to use words, but I think most people do (a little bit). ;)
DeleteThe Great Scot is so brave he's even gone in by himself, looking for an Xmas gift for me. He ran into one of his workmates on the same mission and they had such a fine old time that the manager of the store invited them... to never return again.

Hahaha, Chris is just the opposite. He LOVES going in there with me, but won't go in unless I am there, too.
ReplyDeleteHaha love it!
ReplyDeleteI get it. I wait outside when my husband goes into the hunting store or the tool store. Same situation :)
ReplyDeleteFunny! I have no problem following my wife into that store. Then I can tell her what I like.
ReplyDeleteFunny how some guys won't go into lingerie stores. Mine loves shopping at them.
ReplyDeleteI love watching people and what they do, something must have embarrassed him that he would not want to go inside.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big people watcher and sometimes see some of the funniest things. My husband wouldn't be caught dead in Victoria Secret although he will tell you that it's his favorite store!
ReplyDeleteHubby goes right in with me. I see lots of men do this though. Way too embarrassing for them. Bless their hearts.
ReplyDeleteIs that your son in the car? I think it is.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
yep, that's the ice cream truck and he loves it so ;)
DeleteMy boys like the ice cream truck as well. We have the same one at our mall.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to that.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha... things like that crack me up :)
ReplyDeleteand i love when the mall has a play area for the kiddos... gives a break during shopping
Funny - my hubby also will not step inside! Gotta wonder what men think will happen to them! LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL. at least he didn't have to hold her purse :)

ReplyDeleteHa. just like my hubby. that's when he takes off to the Apple Store.
ReplyDeleteHaha. That is too funny. Sounds like a nice guy.
ReplyDeleteHA! That's funny, my hubby will go in...but not for any kind of "extended" visit LOL
ReplyDeletehaha...i see such guys hanging outside such stores when i go to the mall...does make me laugh :)
ReplyDeletethanks for a precious click, Rosey
appreciate your linkup.
That is so funny. I always get a giggle when I see guys hanging back from "girly" stores while shopping with their girlfriends or wives.
ReplyDeleteLOL that is too funny. Hubby would have had no problem going in and giving his opinion.
ReplyDeleteIf he's with her, he really shouldn't be that embarrassed. I think that's hilarious!
ReplyDeleteLiz, you don't understand. Going into Victoria's Secret is like walking into a mine field. You cannot make eye contact or even glance at a woman other than your girl in that store. There's just too much that could go wrong.
DeleteHow funny is that! Maybe he wanted a surprise?
ReplyDeleteNow this is too too funny, but does not surprise me! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny. There are just a lot of men that want nothing to do with that stuff.
ReplyDeletehahaha. That is great. I remember feeling like that when I was a teenager. Didn't want anyone to even THINK about underwear.
ReplyDeleteLol. You just got to love shopping with men. They make it worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious. Poor guy was probably embarrassed. Amber N
ReplyDeleteThat's funny. I take my sons with me to Victoria's Secret all the time. Maybe when they get older they won't want to go in either.
ReplyDeleteI used to go to Victoria's Secret all the time, and my hubby enjoyed it so much, because he loves the lotion smells. I don't shop there anymore though.
ReplyDeleteMy husband nevers goes into those types of stores with me. It is just to embarassing for him.
ReplyDeleteExactly! My girlfriend finds this to be hilarious, however. So not only does she attempt to drag me into Victoria's Secret often, she also regularly sends me to get her monthly supplies. She thinks it's the height of hilarity.
DeleteThat's so funny, whenever a girl goes shopping theirs a guy following behind her and waiting outside of stores.
ReplyDeleteThat;s hysterical! And he doesn't even know you busted him!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with that guy. I'm not going into any store that sells women's undergarments period. Even glancing at a good lucking chick in a store like that could lead to swimming in dangerous, dangerous waters.
ReplyDeletehaha I've known many men that would not go near that place, course I also knew some that loved it. how cute
ReplyDeleteMy hubs wouldn't go in that place but I'm thinking he'd flip through a catalog without any problem! That is funny!
ReplyDeleteLOL, sounds like my ex. He hated any 'girly store' (as he referred to them). :)
ReplyDeleteA typical man. I've made my Husband come into VS with me a couple times, lol.
ReplyDeleteAww bless him - my other half would probably wait in another shop ;) lol x
ReplyDeleteLOL! My boyfriend is pretty decent about going int those stores with me. I don't think he loves it, though!
ReplyDeleteThat's why I married the man who was not afraid of buying me chocolates and Tampons at 10 p.m.! Cute picture, tho!
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny! My husband doesn't like going in stores like that, either - but he'll usually go anyways. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny. My son hates it when I make him go with me to VS.
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! My husband goes in with me. Has to make sure I get something he likes. heehee!
ReplyDeleteI don't even like shopping there. Over priced stuff.
ReplyDeleteslehan at juno dot com
I always see a line of hovering men outside. Always great for a laugh!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of dude is that? he doesn't like shopping at Victoria's Secret with his GF? Seriously!? I thought that was every man's fantasy
ReplyDeleteMy husband would have been all over that store LOL.. guys are so funny!
ReplyDeleteI always thought guys like shopping at stores like that, especially when they had a public excuse like a girlfriend.
ReplyDeleteLOL :D Poor guy. My husband does not mind these kind of stores.
ReplyDeleteHubby never goes into those types of stores with me. I don't want him to anyway!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I really don't know why they make such a big deal about it! And, in this case, he would be BENEFITING from this stop! LOL
ReplyDeletemy son krinkles his nose when we walk by. it's so uncomfortable for guys too I guess
ReplyDeleteHahah that's too funny! I think my husband would come in with me.
ReplyDeleteYes that is so funny because if I ever go shopping there my husband would never set foot in there either! LOL! Hope you have a great day and enjoy your weekend Rosey.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I like shopping without my husband :) We are totally different shoppers, I like to buy things and get out and he takes forever to just pick out a pair of shoes. We normally go our separate ways in the mall since it's easier :)
ReplyDeleteI would laugh too. I don't think my husband has been in with me either. lol
ReplyDeleteVery cute picture. I would have laughed as well. My husband isn't a fan of going inside women's lingerie stores either.
ReplyDeletehahahaha, this picture is great!!! ohmygosh, my one friend's bf (now husband) hated going into victoria's secret with her. hatedddd it!
ReplyDeleteWhenever I go to that store, I always think it is cute when I see a husband or boyfriend shopping with their partner. I think it would be fun to shop together in that store.
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny! I think it's so funny to see the reactions of men who actually do go in the store.
ReplyDeleteThat photo is great. Its funny some men have no problem going in and others would not go in for anything.
ReplyDeleteLOL He hates waiting at VS like most men!
ReplyDeleteThat is funny. I could never understand why a person would be embarrassed to walk into a store. They have perfume, makeup, bikini's too. He better stay out of Spencers as they have things, that I think are far more embarrassing in their!
ReplyDeleteHaha! This is great! I remember seeing that lots at the malls! My hubby always went in those stores with me!
ReplyDeleteThat was a cute couple - he tried to support her.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Now,, that is just cute! :))
ReplyDeleteOh super cute!!!! This is great my kiddos love those things!
ReplyDeleteMy husband won't go in either. He just sits at the massage chairs in the mall while I shop!
ReplyDeleteLOL Poor guy. My Hubs would go in if I wanted him to. He would also go alone and get me what I wanted. I think he has gotten me things from there.
ReplyDeleteHa! Smart man! All the pink, lace and panties can be a bit much for men
ReplyDelete~Amanda
What a cute place! Nice and bright and colorfu!
ReplyDeleteI never get it when men or boys do that.
ReplyDeleteBut to each their own eh
That is too funny! I know a few guys who have no problem with their women shopping at Victoria's Secret, and even encourage it. But they'd never stop in there themselves. They avoid it like the plague!
ReplyDeleteBet that was fun to watch.
