Introducing Slideshow! by Fotor

There is a fun new slideshow maker from Fotor, called (and appropriately so), Slideshow. You may or may not remember me writing about Fotor awhile back. It is a free, easy to navigate photo editor, and it is awesome. If you haven't seen it, or want a refresher, you can find that post here.

Now Fotor has come out with a way to make a photo slideshow in a matter of minutes. Again the service is free, and it is easy to navigate and use. Right now there are 9 themes to choose from on the slideshow creator including Vignette, Classic, Snapshot, and Shades. You can have different music set to the background, and each option offers something new to the slide (like squares fading in, color & black and white mixures, etc.).

I have to admit, it was fun to play around with for a bit, and I intend to go back and do some more later. For the purposes of this post, I wanted to see how quickly I could put together a slideshow. You can upload photos from your computer or from your Instagram, Facebook and/or Dropbox accounts. I decided to put together some pictures of my daughter and her ever changing hairstyles.

My daughter loves to experiment with her look (vegan hair dye, different lengths, styles, etc.)
The first left picture is her natural color, the next three pics are different styles/colors
she's had in the last couple of years, & the last right pic is how she has her hair right now.

My daughter is very  brave with her hair. She likes to experiment with it using vegan hair dye, different styles, different lengths, and even different hair accessories. I admire how much of a free spirit she is with her hair.

Blonde is her natural color, as you can see from the early pictures in the slide show, but she's had it brown, red, dark blonde, light blonde, blue (hair chalk), and right now it's black. To demonstrate how to use the slideshow, I thought I'd pull a few pictures off of my computer that show some of her different hairstyles, just for fun, and put them on Fotor Slideshow. I put a selfie I came across of her and her youngest brother too because the squished ears on the little guy crack me up.

Click HERE to see example I made on Fotor Slideshow.
This was put together in less than 3 minutes, with randomly selected music.
You can play around and make yours in so many different ways!
Then sharing, with the link instantly provided, is oh so easy!

The slideshow took less than three minutes to make . It was simply a matter of uploading a handful of pictures (that was what took the longest in the process, and even that didn't take long), putting them in the order I wanted, and selecting one of the themes.

This slideshow was from the 'Classics Theme,' and the music accompanying it was their choice.

Check out the Fotor Slideshow Maker to see what other themes, music, and ideas there are for creating a slideshow of your own.  It's a fun tool, and once you've made your Slideshow, you can easily share it on social media with the instant link they provide for you (like mine above).

You can learn more about Fotor's Slideshow by visiting their website. You can also find their app on Facebook, and/or follow them on Twitter.

Thats such a cool slideshow with your daughter! I feel like I need to do that for myself- I've only ever been DARK brunette, and LIGHT blonde. It'd be good to see the differences!

I love learning about a new way to share photos. It's cool that your daughter isn't afraid to try new things with her hair. I've had the same hair color all my life and the one time I tried to dye it, the dye wouldn't take. LOL
