(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Last year we went to a birthday party for a friend of my son's (at Chuck E. Cheese).

The child got to go in this ticket blaster for 30 seconds &
my son thought that was the coolest thing ever!

So this year, I called to see how much it would cost to party w/the mouse.
The party would have been close to $100.
The ticket blaster alone, just $3 for 30 seconds.
We had the party elsewhere and swung in for a little extra surprise.
Little man was delighted!

  4. I know my girls loved that ticket blaster at one of their friends parties, too. But with you on not paying to have the party there if I could find a better location for less money, too.

  11. My nieces did it one year and they both freaked out.. they were so scared. I like you opt to not spend the money on the party and do something more special for my boys.

  23. I so remember going there when my son will little. I hated their pizza, but the place was so much fun for the kids. It appears it's the same, but way pricier.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  61. Oh my that does look like such fun! How many tickets did he get? x

    1. They told him he could get tickets any way possible, except grabbing them off the floor. He was so careful not to touch any that went near the floor, so he really didn't get many. The guy running it was nice though, and slipped him a handful at the end. ;)

  67. Elliott has been trying to convince me to take him to Missouri for his birthday next year so he can have his party there. There's not one even remotely close to us (the nearest is about 5 hours away), but we do go fairly regularly when we are at my mom's house since she is only about 30 minutes away from one.

At least if we did it in Missouri, we would only be inviting his cousins, so that would certainly save money over having a big one with lots of friends.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I went in one of those. It was much, much harder than it looks!

    ReplyDelete
  69. I'm sure the look on his face was well worth it but wow 3.00 is a lot.
