Wouldn't Winning a Kindle Fire HD with Wi-Fi Would be a Great Back to School First?!
![]() |
The Kindle Fire HD with Wi-Fi Sold at Staples! |
Now that I'm the mom, there are Back to School Firsts I get to enjoy with my kids. In my son's Kindergarten class last year, almost everyone had a Tablet. I was surprised! My son had one too, but only because it was gifted to him the year before by a family friend. I thought he was too young for it. Turns out, he was not. The Kindle Fire HD is perfect for his age, to reiterate in a fun way, lessons learned (or to be learned) from Math, Spelling, and his Dolch Word Lists, to name a few.
![]() |
There are so many useful features on the Kindle Fire HD Fire (with WiFi) You can download books, and add music. There is a clock and a calender. ..and really so much more! |
There are also features for the big kids, like my teen...such as the ability to download books, add music to the cloud player (or transfer music via USB), upload pictures, stream HD movies, check e-mail, and there is a built in clock ad calendar too. Those are but a few of the many features available on the Kindle Fire HD with Wi-Fi. And if your child (grade school all the way through college) doesn't have one, this could be the perfect back-to-school 'first!'
![]() |
Create Your Own Personalized Learning Environment with the Kindle HD Fire. It also has optional password protection. |
Set-up is easy...you just take your new Kindle out of the package, give it an initial charge as directed, and then start setting it up to your own preferences for school (or home, if you're keeping it for yourself ;) ). There are parental controls aplenty, so if you're sending a younger child out, you can do so with peace of mind. There is also password protection so only those who know it (the password) can access the device.
![]() |
Parental Control Options are Available. I used one for the ability to download apps. |
You can also put a password requirement on any download, so the kids can't go crazy with the game apps Not that either of my two lovelies would ever attempt to do such a thing.
![]() |
7" HD Touchscreen has very clear, nice graphics! |
And speaking of games...the graphics on the Kindle Fire HD with Wi-Fi are very clear, very colorful, and very nice. We've downloaded several game apps, and all of them are just gorgeous to view. I love the Angry Birds games, so we snagged a couple of those, my kids know I love Pac Man, so they put that one on there, and Minecraft Lovers can let out a little whoop because there is a Minecraft Pocket Edition in the app store, and now it's on our new Kindle too (my son and husband love that game).
So...for your back to school first for your kids this year, why not get them a Kindle Fire HD with Wi-Fi from Staples? The learning opportunities are endless, the quality of the device is the best of the best, and the price is right.
You can get this Kindle Fire HD with WiFi, online. You can also purchase it at your local Staples store.
Enjoy your time and experiences shopping with your kids for back-to-school. And be sure to embrace all of those wonderful firsts you're bound to come across this year (and every year).
One lucky winner gets a Kindle Fire HD with WiFi to call their own. US entrants only.
