eitech Makes Building and Learning Fun with #Giveaway

Disclosure: We received samples to help facilitate the review. All opinions stated however, are genuine and my own.

I have posted about building things with my kids before. It's something all of us like to do, from us parents to our teen, and right down to our little guy. There's something very satisfying about working hands-on with projects, and that's especially true when you're creating and learning with others.

The eitech Trail Bike Construction Set &
The eitech Train with Rail Car Construction Set

Eitech makes these great stainless steel building kits (there are quite a few to choose from on their website, and several on Amazon) that encourage experimenting, and teach children hands-on motor skills, basic STEM skills, and the importance of following instructions.

All of the pieces in each kit are interchangeable with the other kits, so you once you've created your intended masterpiece, you can move on and create you own ideas from scratch. There is an instruction sheet included with each kit that labels parts by photo, size, and name (so you can mix pieces up and not have to worry about remembering which pieces go to which kit).

We created the eitech Trail Bike kit

We have two kits, and opted to create the eitech Trail Bike Kit first because it is the smaller of the two.

The pieces of the kit laid out on our work space
and organized by type

These kits are the real deal. There's no putting them together in a few minutes flat and moving on to the next thing you want to do. They vary in size, but even the smallest one, as seen here, has quite a few parts that have to be put together from scratch.

The eitech kits are no joke.
You invest time and energy into these & it's a wonderful thing!

You're investing your time and energy into these, and it can be a little time-consuming. That's okay, we like time-consuming for projects like these.

My son has an itty bitty wrench (all tools included) in his hand in the picture above.
He is securing a handle bar to the bike.

The satisfaction the kids (and parents!) get from watching pieces of stainless steel form into something really cool, is a great transformation to see take place.

The finished product

Once you've worked through the process and your masterpiece is complete, you really get a nice sense of accomplishment.

eitech building mission complete.

The only word of caution I have, is that it's so fun for parents to be involved, that you might temporarily forget your child is loving this project too. Don't overstep and build for your child, but rather be the guide. Allowing them ownership of the process will instill confidence in them, and leave them (and you) smiling ear to ear, once the project is complete.

There are many types and styles of kits to see, and I've linked some of them below:

Eiffel Tower: eitech website and Amazon
Robot: eitech website and Amazon
Trail Bike: eitech website and coming-soon to Amazon
Space Shuttle eitech website and Amazon

There are others too! You can learn more about all of the eitech products by visiting the eitech website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

One lucky winner gets their choice of one of the four kits listed below (US entrants only):

One lucky winner gets to choose one of these four kits to call their own!

That looks like far too many parts to lose. I don't think I want to be stepping on metal pieces in the middle of the night bathroom trip...

I used to be so good at helping build stuff with my older kids. Now that I have new set of kids.. i just don't have it anymore. Luckily they are good at it!

My kids love to build! I haven't seen these sets before.

Pat Hatt said...

First I've heard of that one, looks like lots of fun, and keeps them busy too

Marble Run Construction Set look very intricate !! But Awesome ! But if I win I would love the Robot for my grandson.

These are cool, but how in the world does one pick one. The roller coaster is cool, but I kinda like the simple bike. I couldn't go with the Eiffel Tower because the French have been such jerks to Israel. Same with the London Bridge. I don't know.

Chrystal Mahan said...

These are really cool. I think kiddo would like that. It would be hard to pick. I think the roller coaster is pretty cool.

menopausal mama said...

The ieTech looks so cool! They had something similar to this when my kids were young---my son especially LOVED building things with the similar kits. I think they were called erector sets, or something like that.

Looks fun and educational! Two things I look for when buying things for my kids.

Theresa Mahoney said...

Now that looks fun! It would be hard for me not to jump in to build it myself though lol.

And once your kid is in bed, then you can make what you really want with the kit!

Tough Cookie Mommy said...

I love that kids have to build this because it teaches them how to follow directions and use their hands. It's very educational at the same time.
