Open Jelly Does Not Go in the Cupboard

Hubby's been on vacation for two weeks. That means our schedules are all messed up. I don't even sleep in, ever, it just doesn't happen, but I have been sleeping until 7 or so every day this past week!! This morning my husband woke me up to make his breakfast/coffee/packed lunch. I was so tired doing it, that I started to put the open jelly away in the cupboard (instead of returning it to the 'fridge). -_-   #MorningRoutine

  1. LOL - it happens to the best of us. At least you caught it before you left it in there and it went bad.

  3. When I'm tired I do crazy things, too. Come to think about, I do crazy things when I'm not tired. lol So, glad you caught your goof before the jelly was ruined.

  7. That's what kids are for right? Shift the blame

  8. You need more sleep if you're not putting the jelly back where it belongs. Bwahahahahahahaha. Your schedule needs to return to normal.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  10. I tend to find stuff in the freezer on occasion that doesn't belong there - like a bag of carrots that should have been in the veggie drawer! Oh well, just a fluke I'm sure! ;)

  12. You poor thing that feeling foggy in the morning is awful but you'll be back to routine in no time.

  13. I hate mornings like that. My husband works a bunch of crazy hours, so it seems like our routine is always getting messed up. Supposedly he will be on days for at least the rest of the year, with the occasional exception for exercises, so maybe we will finally have a routine that works well for everyone in our house for more than just a week or two. We'll probably still end up making mistakes like that, though. Haha.

  14. Oh yes. And perhaps worse is putting empty containers back in the fridge.
One sad, frazzled day I rushed inside with the milk in one hand, dragging my shoes off as I came in the door. And only realised when I got to the fridge and discovered my shoes DID NOT fit in the milk compartment that I had hurled the milk under the bed as I went past. Oops.

  15. Some of the things I've done when still half asleep would scare some. That is why my cat supervises me in the kitchen in the morning--after having woken me up too early to begin with!

  16. It happens when you're tired. We all get that way. Hopefully you'll be able to get some more sleep soon. I keep trying to tell myself to go to bed earlier but that never happens either.

  17. It's okay, I've tried to put the toaster away in the refrigerator before. Worst part, is that I didn't realize it until 15 min. later! LOL

  18. Hahaha, that happened to me before as well. Hubby goes to work really early now that the kids are off to school so he could come home early, so what I do is pre-cooked his breakfast and lunch for work so he would just nuke it when he woke up.

  23. My mil does put open jelly in the cupboard. My husband thought it was weird that I put it in the fridge when we first moved in. I fixed his habit real quick!

I remember being so tired at breakfast once. When I got home from school my step mom was laughing at me because she found the milk in the cabinet with the cereal. Whoops!
