(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: Character Breakfast

We decided to skip out on the character breakfast at Disney World this year, and get the one at our hotel instead (Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort). GREAT choice because we didn't have to drive to get there, there were no lines, there were a lot of great breakfast choices, and the characters (Pluto and Goofy) were very interactive with the children. The two little ones in our party loved it, and so did the adults. ;)

This was definitely a huge perk of our hotel stay, and the price was nice too.

He'd eat nothing but strawberries for every meal of the day if I'd let him. :)

Hubby utilized the omelet station (they make them while you wait).

The food selections wrapped around several long tables, and
the hot foods stayed hot (I know because I got the pancakes :) ).

We were too full to utilize the sweet stuff, but it sure looked tasty.

And the dads...

I mean the family...got to pose with the characters too, for pictures. :)
Definitely a great breakfast, and a fun way to start the day with the fam.

Looked like a ton of fun and admit I haven't had breakfast yet and those omelets are calling my name!! :)

That looks like so much fun! I think my husband would love it as much as the kids. He collects pictures of himself with characters to use as his Facebook profile! LOL

Happy Wednesday!

Looks like you made a great choice, I'm sure the kids had much fun. Are you still here in FL?? Would love to meet you.

mail4rosey said...

We are home now. I didn't know you lived in Florida. That would have been fun to meet up!

Like Jacqueline said . . . after viewing that luscious buffet I too found myself suddenly very hungry. :D
Looks like your hotel was indeed the place to have breakfast.

Interesting that the characters show up at the regular breakfast, too. Looks like you made the right decision.

I think that is cool that they do character breakfasts outside of Disney like that. We are going in Aug, but we stay on Disney property and have 2 character breakfasts reserved this time.

mail4rosey said...

The characters show up Tues., Thurs., and Sat. :)

mail4rosey said...

I like staying on property, but unless we're JUST going to the parks, I think we'll stay off property from now on. It was just NICE to be able to walk right over to Downtown Disney and see free entertainment and spend time w/the fam. I really, really loved that resort (in case you can't tell from my posting about about it again, lol). :)

mail4rosey said...

It was a relaxed way to get our day started. :)

Amber said...

That looks like TONS of fun! My son would have a heart attack if a character from Disney came to visit him at breakfast lol

I love character breakfasts at Disney. We did ours at the Animal Kingdom since Magic Kingdom was too crowded. It sounds like you made the right decision to go back to your hotel for it.

It looks like you guys had a lot of fun! We did a character breakfast at a hotel (although not the one we stayed at) when we went to Disney, too. We chose to do it that way so we could do it on a day we didn't have much planned so we wouldn't feel so rushed. :)

I didn't even know they had them at hotels until we stayed at the Wyndham LBV. It's hard to get a reservation at the park, and this is so much easier (and it was really, really nice!).

I'm with your son...I can eat strawberries for every meal. Too bad they don't grow in Trinidad. We have to import them which only jacks up the price.
