#GotItFree Private Selection Mason Jar Desserts

Disclosure: I received a coupon for a free product to help facilitate the review. All opinions stated are genuine and my own. Bzz Agent Post.

Private Selection Mason Jar Desserts are new. Being a blogger, the first thing I thought of was how bloggers would delight in repurposing the cute little (and very sturdy) jars once the dessert was gone. Mel (Mellywood's Mansion) instantly came to mind, and I bet she'd do a great job with the task too. ;)

That being said, what was inside the jar is soooo worth talking about.

We found our Private Selection Mason Jar Dessert
at Kroger in the Bakery Section

We brought home the Chocolate Ganache Cake, described on the label as being moist chocolate cake layered with chocolate ganache and chocolate truffle mousse.

The top layer of the dessert was looking pretty tasty.
The little jar was sturdy, kept the dessert cold, & was just the right size for a dessert.
I took a couple of bites. Gotta try all the layers, right? Then I told my youngest he could have the rest as promised, since he selected our flavor. He was happily waiting with his spoon and strawberries. Why the strawberries?  Well, he thought that was the perfect accompaniment, and he was right, though these are delicious entirely on their own; zero embellishments required.

Private Selection Mason Jar Desserts come in (10) delicious varieties, all of which are ready-made (no need to heat or thaw), so you have a little bit of indulgence at the ready, any time the urge for a decadent dessert arises. I thought these were pretty tasty and my son did too.  The next time you're at a Kroger family store, take a look around the bakery and see what flavors you might like to try.

My only issue with these is that they are not big enough. I would need to eat two or three of them :)

Private selection is actually better than national brands in my opinion! We don't have a Kroger close by, but when we do get to go, I always stock up on PS brand! Looks like I need to add these yummy desserts to my cart the next time we go, too!
