TeenSafe is a Great Resource for iPhone/Android Phones (with $100 Visa GC Giveaway)

If you've got a teen with an iPhone or Android Phone, then TeenSafe has got you covered! Some of you know that my husband and I do not have smart phones.  That is because we're old fogies, and don't think we need one. ;)  The teen and older kids in the family though, do have smart phones (the teen's was a gift, not from us). We recently had an issue in our home that required some backtracking of deleted texts on my teen's phone.  It wasn't anything she'd done wrong, but something that we really did need to ascertain.

If you have TeenSafe you can recover any text instantly, and at home.  In addition to locating texts (including deleted texts), the service also tracks the whereabouts of your teen's phone (great for safety reasons!), monitors call logs (if you feel you need to do that), allows for Facebook and Instagram activity to be seen, and allows you to see browser history all very easily, and all conveniently from one place.  This is a great resource to have for many, many reasons, with the location tracking being my absolute favorite feature!

Check TeenSafe out and see if it's a good fit for you!  Right now they are also offering a free 6-day trial.  AND they're offering a $100 Visa Gift Card to one lucky winner.

US/Canada entrants only.

  3. I was like you - insistant that I didn't need a smart phones since I was always home anyhow. Once I got one, I can't see how I ever lived without it. Aside from just surfing and the usual, I use it for getting discounts while shopping or dining, find educational information and more. Thanks for the TeenSafe info... we just switched to a Samsung Galaxy S5 for our daughter (we have iPhones) and lost the ability to track her. We'll have to check this out.

  5. Good idea, much easier to catch an issue fast than after it has become a big problem!

  6. I actually think this is a great program. My oldest had some issues on no no things on our computer when she was younger. While I am certain she has learned her lesson, it never hurts to check up on them now and again (which we do lol).

  7. This sounds awesome. My oldest is almost ten and he doesn't have a cell phone as of yet, but he will before I know it.

  8. This really does sound great. James has a track phone that he can text on, but that's it. He will be 13 this Sept. I may need this service sooner than I think!!

  9. I teach this age. I can, yet have trouble understanding when I ask a roommate where their roommate is, and they don't have a clue. Seriously they should let one another know where they are at.

  10. My teenagers are constantly involving themselves in media-related drama. My oldest is 19 and we finally made him assume full responsibility of his own phone, meaning an assumption of liability. He holds the contract to his phone so all mistakes are his own. My 13 year old daughter just lost her phone because she kept sneaking it to school, which we forbid. I'm close to banning all media at home, it's such a hassle.

  11. Definitely a must have for parents because sometimes it's necessary to keep track of what our kids/teens are up to especially since so many have their own phones which can lead to some issues. Awesome giveaway too!

  13. hi Rosey! Great to hear from you and thanks for the Easter greeting. Chemo is on tap for Friday and I am NOT excited but I know I have to do it so I am being as positive as humanly possible. I thought the surgery would be a nightmare but 4 weeks later I am doing great!

  18. I think this is a great service because adolescents definitely need additional supervision when it comes to their comings and goings with technology.

  25. I think it is a very good idea to keep our kids as safe as possible. Sometimes our kids don't use their best judgement.
