My husband takes preventative pills daily, without fail, and if we're traveling he brings them along. The trouble with that is he puts them all in a re-purposed vitamin container, which makes it hard to get to what he needs when he needs it. When I say 'pills' I'm talking about his multi-vitamin, Fish Oil, CoQ, Same, Red Yeast Rice, Cholestoff, and whatever else is in there, those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'm telling you, he's got his own personal pharmacy in the Master Bath. Tripod Store, made by Sabi, has created a take-along pill box that has now replaced his repurposed container.
Created with three spacious slots to hold a variety of vitamins, including the big ones like the Fish Oil capsules, this little container is a beauty!
It folds up to about the size of three 9-volt batteries, which makes it easy to toss in my purse and bring along for when hubby needs it. It's covered in sturdy, supple rubber, and has three rubber and hinged compartments.
You can see from the picture above that the compartments are nice and roomy, I've put an AA battery in there to demonstrate, since most people have seen one and are familiar with the size. The pen cap is holding up the rubber cover.
The only beef I had about the product is that while each of the three compartments hooks in place tightly, you can only open it from one end. That means you have to have all three sections open to gain access to the section closest to the non-opening end. It doesn't bother my husband in the slightest, and he's the one using it, so there you have it.
The Tripod Roll-up from Sabi is nice for what it was made for (carrying pills) but it would also be nice for carrying other little things you want to have at the tip of your fingers, or don't want to get lost. The clip holds secure, so no worries about spills on an active day.
