(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Looks like a great day to break out the sleds (later today if/when the snow stops). We've got an awesome hill (for sledding, not for mowing) in our yard. The storm that hit last night was a doozie. I'm ready for the lamb part of the old saying, "March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb." I know a lot of you are ready too.

We are supposed to have snow and high winds tonight I to tomorrow. Yet yesterday was just about 70 degrees and today is supposed to be In the 50s, too. So like you so done and ready for spring to stick around.

I still recall the one (and only!) time the Great Scot went sledding......he ended up with a rather large tree in a very sensitive area.
Can't say I blame him for never going again!
Stay safe and warm. =)

I guess you don't want to see my Wordless Wednesday, after your post; but, you can laugh at me in the summer when we have a month straight of triple digits.

Ready and waiting, we had the crummy snow yesterday, but it has since melted away

Yep, it's been a horrible winter in many parts. I know you're waiting for that lamb to appear. It will and you'll smile.

Have a fabulous day and stay warm. :)

Yesterday I could see half the grass in my yard. Today it's covered again. I am ready to move to Florida.

We're pretty low on snow for sledding but there is still a bit!

Oh no! You have been hit hard this year. We were supposed to get fat flakes of snow (which is the prettiest), but all we got was a thin rain/snow mix. It wasn't even that slippery. I thought it would be.

I need spring!

Sledding? Ahhh We do not want any more snow over here.. Enough is enough..

Sledding? Jealous thoughts. We rarely get snow in my city and NEVER enough to go sledding.
Have fun - and stay warm and safe.

I have this toboggan in the basement that has not been used since the year 1996. :( That's when my kids grew up and moved out on their own. So sad it's collecting dust. The grandkids are almost old enough though so we'll see. And shhhhhhhhhh I think that lion is still around!!!

I'm nearly positive you're far more ready than I am. You guys have been clobbered this year!

I am so ready for the snow to melt. My kids have resorted to play tag inside. It's amusing.. we have a bedroom in center of house with two doors, so they go around and around and around again!

Everyone else has been so cold, and we've had a strange, dry, warm winter. It's been in the 80's. Not doing good things for the drought.

Kisa Johnson said...

I want the snow to go away, stay away, and not come back for a long time! Heck I am more ready to move out of this area than ever. Just to get away from snow and freezing temps!

Mistee Dawn said...

Same here. Though it does feel like winter will never end.

We tried to go sledding -- but sadly the temperature also dipped down to minus 16 C before the windchill. The sun is shining beautifully day, but still freezing cold and bitter wind chill. Will have to plan for indoor sports today!

You had to throw the pool scene in there? hahaaha I cannot wait for it to warm up enough to go swimming. We've got a while to go though. ;)

I think my kids went sledding at least once a week this winter, thanks to all of the snow.
