Toilettree Electric Toothbrush (review)

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

When I use a manual toothbrush I am glad to have it, but I still feel like I haven't gotten my teeth as clean as they could be, even with flossing.  My husband uses an electric toothbrush, and the kids have their battery-operated spinners too, and they love them. I've never taken that leap.

Now I have the ToiletTree Products electric toothbrush. It comes with a full-sized toothbrush and a smaller travel brush, so you can take it with you on the go.  It's smaller than traditional sized bases, and I like that because that means it takes up less room on the counter. I like my countertops clean and clutter-free, so if something's got to be there, the more size-efficient, the better.

The toothbrush has a two-minute auto timer on it so you can make sure you're brushing the full amount of time recommended by a dentist.  It also has two brush modes (sensitive and clean), and it comes in two colors (black or white).

ToiletTree claims an oscillation of 8800 per minute to help get to more plaque than you can with a traditional toothbrush, and I can feel that when I use it. My teeth definitely feel cleaner with an electric brush.

The only downside I had with the ToiletTree electric toothbrush is that the travel head seemed too small to me.  It was a challenge for me to keep the toothpaste on until it got to really going.  I'm just letting you know, since this is a review.

My overall synopsis of the toothbrush is that it really does seem to clean better than my manual style toothbrush, and that's exactly what I was looking for in an electric version.

The ToiletTree Products Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush is available for $49.95 on Amazon.
You can learn more about ToiletTree by visiting their website.
You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

    1. Agreed. The manual really cannot get those hard to reach places as easily...and sometimes the manual doesn't get to them at all!

  3. I LOVE an electric toothbrush. They give a superior clean, and if you learn to lay the toothpaste DOWN into the brush and not turn it on until you have it in your mouth you'll soon have the hang of it.

  8. I am the queen of lost toothbrushes. I'd be afraid that I'd pay a zillion dollars for an electric one and then lose it on one of my trips!

  11. Electric toothbrushes clean so much better than the one powered by our hands. They get to places I just can't reach. I am in need of a new one,.. checking them out now.

  13. A two-minute timer? I thought it would be longer than that. I have never tried an electric toothbrush -- I'm probably missing some plaque with my manual one though.

    1. I was taught 3 minutes as a youth, and taught that to all of my kids, so that habit is still what I'm doing. :)

  15. Electric toothbrushes are the BEST! I've been using one for years. In fact, everyone in my house has one - they just do a much better job than a manual one.

  16. I used an Electric Tooth Brush 1 time and I thought that it was to slow lol. But that was many years ago (about 30) and I bet they are better now. Never really thought about getting another one. Hmmmmm Also, 2 min??? That was a surprise. When I was a teen we were taught 3 min. So I use a egg timer lol. Did the toothpaste go flying off lol lol??? Now ya got me thinking about trying one out lol

  19. We like the Sonicare since it's a little bigger, but it's definitely more pricey. This may be a good lower-cost alternative.

  20. I haven't had an electric toothbrush since I was quite young. This would be a great investment :)

  21. I like them because they help me not brush as hard. I'm a terribly hard brusher!

  22. Mytist hooked me up with a Sonicare after I spent sveral grand on implants at his office. It died after a year (something I read happens all the time with certain models) and was really happy that all I had paid for were replacement heads. I haven't an electric toothbrush in forever and miss I horribly. $50, depending on the cost for new heads, seems reasonable.

  23. Electric all the way here. It DOES make my teeth feel cleaner. And makes me feel a bit ashamed that I cannot manage that 'simple' task without assistance.

  24. I switched to an electric toothbrush about a year ago and wish I had done it sooner. My teeth really do feel so much cleaner than using a manual brush. This one looks like a great choice...I love the black option, since most are always just white.
