All Caught Up (for now).

A year ago I took a class and got an 'Incomplete.' The weather did not cooperate w/a tight deadline we had to interview a superintendent and a principal (and the rest of the class built upon those interviews).

That class is only offered once a year, which means I have to make up my 'Incomplete' now.

I've not had actual homework for awhile, and I keep forgetting that I'm in a class!!! Who does that (never mindthat is a rhetorical question)?!?!?

Tonight though, by pure coincidence, hubby did the kid and movie thing (in the living room), and I got 100% caught up, woo hoooooooo!

Did I mention, wooo hooo????

I think I shan't forget from this point on, that I am enrolled in a class, not after all the work I just did to get caught up.

Feels good.
Gotta love the little things.

Thanks, Hubs!!

Keep up the good work! It's so difficult to keep caught up on homework, I know the feeling as I watch the husband work on his. This December. This December. This December. We've only got until this December for graduation!!

Glad you were able to get caught up. I have been out of college for so long now I can't imagine being in school again.

Excellent for you to be in a class, I wish you all the best!

Maybe that's why some of my students don't show up to class. They forget that they are enrolled. LOL It's good you are all caught up now. Way to go hubby, for helping her catch up!

Your hubby is a hero! Glad you got caught up! I have a friend that is going through the same thing and I have been her sounding board. She is working full time in the Emergency Room and going to classes. I don't know how you ladies do it!!

mail4rosey said...

Are you repeating to yoursefl, "I think I can... I think I can... I think I can..." hahaha I haven't tried that tactic, but I might. ;)

mail4rosey said...

Taking that advice and hoping it comes true sooner rather than later. ;)

mail4rosey said...

Right! :)

mail4rosey said...

I did have a great day. I hope you did too.
Thanks for the visit. :)

mail4rosey said...

Seriously, who forgets something like that?? Especially w/the amount of tuition I paid. If I don't get the Incomplete changed this semester to a grade, I'd have to lose that money already paid. You'd think that would be incentive to remember, oy!

mail4rosey said...

Yeah, laundry is an everyday thing here too. :)

mail4rosey said...

Just with my homework. I have other areas I'm still chasing my tail on. :)

mail4rosey said...

Same to you. Happy to see your visit. :)

mail4rosey said...

I've other areas to catch up on, but having that one up to speed was a biggie. :)

mail4rosey said...

That breathing room is nice, that's for sure. :)

mail4rosey said...

Thank goodness there's no mid-term to study for. This semester's flying by, which is good and challenging too. ;) GL to you w/your studies.

mail4rosey said...

You ain't a kiddin', sista' I'm a happy gal. :)

mail4rosey said...

I wish I was finished, I'm just caught up for the moment. Half way through the semester though & time's a flyin'

mail4rosey said...

I know it was perfect timing for him to want to watch a family movie. :)

mail4rosey said...

I'll second that. :)

mail4rosey said...

I've been in so long I can't wait to get out, lol

mail4rosey said...

I used to love it. I'm mega watt burnt out now though, and I honestly never thought that would happen. I've always loved school.

mail4rosey said...

Thanks, Kristi. :)

mail4rosey said...

Thanks, Noelle. It was way overdue. :)

mail4rosey said...

I am happy with what I've accomplished and will see the final degree through to the end, but I'm tired, Tammy. :)

mail4rosey said...

Right, and that stupi... I mean wonderful dissertation. ;)

The counselor has more or less taken over my topic, content, etc. and I've lost my drive. It's more like a huge paper/book now instead of a heart extension. But whatever, I'm past that, and working on it again at least. :)

slehan said...

Congrats on getting caught up. I think this will remind you not to get behind again.

mail4rosey said...

His timing was perfect-o!

mail4rosey said...

Julie, you're back, hurrah! I'm headed over to your place. :)

mail4rosey said...

Oh my gosh, Alissa, it's a sure sign of BURNTOUT 101!! I have always been that student that goes the extra mile, and that's just not the case these days. Time to get finished. :)

mail4rosey said...

higher ed. admin. That's where I've worked for as long as I can remember. Hopefully it's where I'll go back to work too... but everything is so far from my house I hate to drive it. I was spoiled in my previous life and didn't even know it. :)

mail4rosey said...

Way to rub it in about the homework, Ann. ;) :)

mail4rosey said...

Eek, I hope she's not on the 24 on/ 24 off shift. I had a friend who did that while going to school and I am still in awe.

mail4rosey said...

It will def. serve as that reminder. :)

Woo hoo! Keep getting caught up so you can "complete". Have a great "caught up" day today!

I like when everything is caught up!! WHOO HOO! Now maybe you can relax for awhile.

mail4rosey said...

The perfect motto to ascribe to until I hit that finish line. :)

mail4rosey said...

Then I'll fall behind again, hahaha. :)

I fully intend to relax after I get that deeeeeeeeeeern diploma. ;)
