It Was a Good Run!

We had a long overdue visit with friends tonight.  It was nice to get out for a bit. The San Diego game was on...and though no one really cared who won that particular game, with the Chargers now not in the playoffs, it looks like Whisenhunt is a top contender to come to the (Detroit) Lions. Hubby's got him 4th in line for a fave, but it's looking like he might be the Lion's favorite. We'll see this week.  I wouldn't want to come to Detroit to coach, just because it's cold, especially not if I previously lived in California, but that's just my way of thinking (says the gal who moved from Florida to Michigan, but never mind that...).

Hubby's name plate is attached on the other side as the winner for the last two years,
BUT, every winning streak must come to an end (dang it).

Hubby had to give up the Fantasy Football Trophy (winner keeps it until next season end).  He's been the winner for the last two years in the league but as lady luck would have it, lost his title this year...probably for getting a bit too cocky.  'They should just cut a slot in the back and stuff my money in it this year,' is what I think he said at the start of the season. Or something very similar. lolol  Not a lot of modesty there, let me tell you. ;)  He does almost always win or come very close to it though, and has for as long as I can remember. I'll give the props where they're due.

I NEVER have that kind of good luck with Fantasy Football, but I still think it's fun. One year that trophy might be mine.  Slow and steady, steady and slow, that's the way we always go. ;)   Anyone else play?  Have a good season this year?

Yeah, its too cold for me to live there too. Visit, yes. Live, no.
