Free iCaughtCupid Photo for all Mail4Rosey Readers!!

Disclosure:  I received the same coupon code to make photos being offered to the readers. All opinions stated are genuine and my own!

When my second oldest graduated high school, he tried to stick around. He got a FT job, and he enrolled at the local college.  But this is a small town with cold weather, and having grown up in a big city, with warm weather, he was longing to go back to S. Florida.  I gave him my blessing and he packed up and left his mama (insert bawling here, but not where he could ever see me).  The empty nest is hard, and I don't even have an empty nest!!! lol

This pic was taken at Christmas, and he got a cut across his eye just before. Isn't that the way it goes??? I can see it, but I think he looked handsome anyway.

This is my 2nd oldest child, and phrases like,  "I'm not getting involved until I'm 40, Mamma,"
and other similar phrases have been known to flippantly fly off of his tongue.

What?? No serious dating?  No romance?
Mmm hmmm.

Fast forward a couple of years, and he's doing well, is very happy in The Sunshine State, and the unthinkable has happened --well, unthinkable to him since he said no way, never, nuh-uh, and all that good stuff-- I suspect he has fallen for a girl.

Why do I think he's serious about her?

A). He sent me a picture of them together... a phone picture, but  a picture nonetheless.
B). He actually talks to me about her.
C). He went to her parents' house during a holiday to put together a jigsaw puzzle with her & her mom, instead of going out.
D). He called me just before Christmas, from the middle of the mall, asking my advice on name brand handbags (I knew it wasn't for me ;) )!!! I told him he didn't have to buy me an expensive bag, and he laughed...and then said he was serious, lolol!! I helped him go through the name brands and he selected a bag with a high quality reputation, in a style he thought his 'girl' would like.

Yep, I do believe Cupid has struck an arrow, and I for one am glad.  This particular son of mine had a girlfriend he thought the world of quite awhile back who went out of state to college (he was still in high school...enough said, but it was a tough time for him).

He then swore off serious.

See the cupid in the corner?
That makes me laugh. :)
He hasn't confirmed 'serious' to me yet with this girl, but mama knows.  And I tease him a little.  This year, I'll be sending him the picture above that he sent me from his phone (see the cupid I added in the corner?).  I'm sure he'll chuckle.  He might even save it. ;)

Making pictures with Cupid in them is easy.  iCaughtCupid has a wide array of frames, styles, cupids and other holiday-related designs that you can use to make a picture of your own.  The process is easy (and until March 1, it's free!! Code at the end of the post), I will give you a brief synopsis of it:

The first thing you want to do is go to the website: www.iCaughtCupid.com
The next thing you will do is enter your email and name:

Then you'll select the picture you want to upload from your computer.

Once your picture is uploaded you can move it around, zoom, select one of many Cupids,
and so on and so forth.
Once your picture is loaded, it will look like the screen above.  You then have the option to move it, resize it, select a Cupid, re-size or flip the Cupid (or other holiday embellishment), etc.

Example of an iCaughtCupid border.
If you want a border, they've got 'em: Lots of 'em. I have put an example of one with hearts on it in the photo above.

This is a screenshot of iCaughtCupid, asking me if I'd like to accept the photo
or go back and make changes.
And all along the way there are many opportunities to fix, correct, or start over with your project (before it's finalized).

My little sweet grandbaby looks like a little cherub to me. :)
My final product is in the picture above, and I love it!! My sweet grandbaby, from my oldest son and his wife, is about to have her very first Valentines' Day ever, and I thought it would be fun to print up a few of these to pass out to the family.

So now, thanks to iCaughtCupid, I have two cool pictures: one to tease my second oldest son with, and one to pass out to the fam. (of little munchkin) for Valentine's Day.

  19. Here's wishing all the best for your son. Relationships are tricky. My son was dating a girl who he thought he would marry, but shortly after Christmas or was it at the start of the New Year? Hmm, anyway I found out they broke things off. I consider this a blessing, even though I liked her very much. There were some issues between them that could possibly cause long term problems for them. Hopefully, your son will find out all he needs to know before giving his heart away anymore than he has already. Like I said, relationships are tricky. :)

  20. Darling couple. She looks like a "nice" gal. (I can tell... LOL)
Here's a funny story. I was in the handbag dept this week, buying purses for Valentines for a girl's home and struck up a conversatio with another shopper. She said she was just looking.... she got a purse from her husband for Christmas and she hates it..... but has to use it. I told her she was a "good wife. LOL

That is funny about the purse. I have dining room walls I hate, but the paint was an anniversary gift from hubs...and so I keep them as is. ;)
