Every year, for the last few years, we have used iCaughtSanta.com. It's a super-dee-duper, easy-to- navigate, fun website that lets you insert Santa and/or Rudolph into any photograph you want, and then you can play around with it to make it look exactly how you want it. That means you can get a picture of Santa Clause coming down the chimney, eating cookies, putting presents under the tree, checking his 'Nice/Naughty' list, or wherever you want to 'catch' him doing in your house. You can make the character you insert any size, face him in any direction, alter the colors, adjust the focus, add one of the many holiday borders, and so on and so forth. Playing with the picture itself is half of the fun, and the website and tools are very user-friendly!
This year when we made ours, hubby wanted to pretend he caught Santa in the act, because that kind of thing makes our little one laugh...and he wanted to do the 'surprised face' he does that also sends our son into a fit of giggles. In fact, he (hubby) was so particular about what he wanted that I just took the picture and let him come up with what he wanted on his own. His finished product is above, and we just love it. We'll bust it out after gifts are opened, and I predict it will be a big hit, like always. :)
This year, iCaughtSanta.com has added a new feature too, with the option to create a video of Santa being caught in the act. That is priced at just $4.99 right now if you purchase the photo too.
In addition to that, iCaughtSanta.com also has a giveaway going on right now with $1500 in prizes, including gift cards for Amazon, Visa, & Starbucks, and an iPad Air with Retina Display. If interested, you can enter that here.
