In a word, Elf Magic is AWESOME!! My son was so so sooooooo excited about this little elf coming to our house (it's his first time ever having one). Before I get into the review, just so you know, there is a Buy $30+, get an elf free sale going on that that ends 12/2 (Cyber Monday). You can get the code here: http://www.mail4rosey.com/2013/12/buy-one-get-one-free-cyber-monday-sale.html
Getting the elf was easy, first I wrote a basic note to Santa, my son signed it and drew a picture (because he knew Santa would like a picture).

Elf Magic comes with a soft green bag (for storage), Magic Snowflakes, and a sweet scroll letter. |
Mom and Dad knew that Elf Magic came in a pretty box with a soft green bag, a bottle of magic snowflakes, and a super sweet scroll letter for the little one.

Little man just knows that he came to visit. :) When he woke up this morning, the first thing he did was go look at the tree. We suspected he would, and imagine his surprise to find the Elf was checking out our new tree as well.
Our son was instantly enamored with his little elf and wondered what kind of things the elf might do, or where he might hide when we were all asleep. The family and I are busy cooking up ideas.

Hanging with the Gingerbread Family |
and hang out with the Gingerbread Family, but there are lots of other things we want to do with our Elf Magic elf, and we'll be brainstorming some original and fun ideas for the elf to do while we're lucky enough to have him 'visiting.'
If you haven't gotten an elf, I highly recommend Elf Magic. The elves are soft, huggable, and cute, and the magic they bring along with them is sure to please. Our little one was beside himself happy that our elf came, and I'm sure his teacher heard all about it today. ;) I'm sure Elf Magic is going to be a happy part of our family traditions for years to come.
You can learn more about Elf Magic by visiting their website here: http://www.elf-magic.com/
You can also follow them on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and/or YouTube.
We do something similar with a different elf and my boys go BANANAS! Our elf gets into all sorts of trouble and they get such a kick out of it.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how excited they get, I was happily surprised about how excited our little one was over the elf showing up.
DeleteWe love our Elf. The girls named him Gingerbread and this is the second year he is making his appearance here now!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's such a fun tradition. I'm happy you have an elf. :)
DeleteThis is so cool! I love it. :)
ReplyDeleteHe is the coolest little thing, I'm happy he's here. :)
DeleteWe have an Elf on the Shelf, and my kids absolutely love it! I have to admit that I have fun with it, too. :)
ReplyDeleteWho knew right? Everyone's excitedly thinking up ideas to surprise the little one with the elf. It's brought a new excitement into our house during a time that's already happy, lol. I am very pleased with our Magic Elf. :) Thanks for the visit!
DeleteThese are cute... a lot of people seem to have one of these now ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe didn't think we'd get one, but now that we have one oh my gosh, it's fun!!
DeleteThese are really cute and they look like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteThey are fun, Pam. :) Thanks for visiting!
DeleteThe elf is oh so cute! You have been coming up with great elf ideas! Beautiful shots. Enjoy the rest of your Monday Rosey.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday to you too, Judy. Thanks for stopping over. :)
DeleteWhat fun and it will certainly keep your little one entertained until the day arrives when "Santa" leaves all his gifts while he is tucked in all cozy in his bed!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, and it really is fun!! Far more than even we thought it would be, I guess because it's so exciting for little man to find it. We hid it for after school, and we'll find something for him to do in the wee hours of the night each night too. ;)
DeleteI love it! I love the Elf on the shelf and finding fun places to put him! I am going to get one of these someday and put him in different places. Your son is so cute making and asking for Santa to send him an elf!!! Such a cute post!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen! We're having a ball!
DeleteOh he is so cute!!! I love the positive message behind Elf Magic and their elves are much cuter than the "other elf" thing people do this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI loved the positive message too. The letter was awesome!!
DeleteYour son is so cute. The whole elf phenomeno
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachee. He's having a really great time w/the elf. We all are, to tell the truth. :)
DeleteGah! My comment was cut off. This whole elf phenomenon is so cute. I love the idea of an elf causing mischief although we just did it around St. Patrick's day.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea to do it around St. Patrick's Day too. :)
DeleteThat is a really adorable elf. Have a lot of fun with your tradition :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, April. :)
DeleteLove love this so much, this is so much fun
ReplyDeleteThanks, Terri. It really is fun. My husband put him outside peeking in at the Christmas Tree. The little one is so preoccupied with the tree we're pretty sure he'll see him pretty fast. ;)
DeleteThat is a neat idea indeed and they are cute I suppose
ReplyDeleteWe're all pretty enamored with him, I have to say. :)
DeleteI like the looks of this one. I'll be honest, the other popular one kind of creeps me out.
ReplyDeleteWe like our little elf. :) They come in different hair colors/skin colors too, and I like that!
DeleteI love the elf - he is so cute (and your son too of course).
ReplyDeleteThanks!! I think it's a fun tradition to start. :)
DeleteWe've never had an elf in our family before! I may have to try this out when I have kiddos :)
ReplyDeleteEasily one of the funnest thing we've done in awhile. :)
Deletewow. I never experienced this myself but it sure is motivating for the kids! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is our first time too. It really is exciting for the kids.:)
DeleteHaha I can't wait to do this with my son!
ReplyDeleteThe kids just love it!
DeleteThis year the twins have an elf in their preschool class!
ReplyDeleteMy youngest has one in his Spanish class. :)
DeleteI heard these started last year and I am just hearing of them, they are so cute. Hopefully we will get one this year.
ReplyDeleteI recommend it highly, it's really fun for the kids...which makes it fun for us. :)
DeleteWhat a cute little elf and what fun to have him going from place to place in your home. I bet your son can't wait to wake up!
ReplyDeleteYou're 100% correct. It's easy to get him to bed now too, we sprinkle the elf w/his snowflakes (that came with his packaging), put out the crackers, and he's happy to get right in bed so the elf can go exploring. I'm going to miss the elf when Christmas rolls around, lol. ;)
DeleteWe had an Elf that went MIA last year. About six months later I found his remains under our bed. He fell victim to our puppy. I bought another one for this year, hopefully our fur baby does not have a taste for elf this year. Cute tradition.
ReplyDeleteRuh Ruh...so much for elf magic. This year will be better (crossing fingers, knocking on wood for you). :)
Deleteha. very cool...we have had an elf for like 4 years...and he is very mischievous....one night each year he decorates the tree in our underwear...always a fun morning...tonight he is wrapping himself up, or trying to, under the tree...ha
ReplyDeleteWe had ours looking in at the tree from outside and it made me laugh (guffaws) when my son noticed him. :) Your antics sound fun. I like the elves. :)
DeleteI love immersing kids in all the magic of Christmas and the holiday season. I love having elves around the house for the kids to wonder about.
ReplyDeleteThe reaction is priceless, they're just delighted. What a fun concept. :)
DeleteThat is one cute elf. I am jealous I am going to have to get myself one.
ReplyDeleteYou should totally get one. :)
DeleteMy mom was just telling me about the elf the other day!
ReplyDeleteOurs is a funny guy. He makes us laugh anyway. :)
DeleteNot for me, I'm not too fond of elves. :P
ReplyDeleteWe never had a tradition like this when I was young, I think he's fun. :)
DeleteWe've never had an elf in our family before! I love the idea! Gotta do this when I have grand kids!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, Rosey!
We're having so much fun coming up with the elf ideas. :)
DeleteI always thought this would be so much fun! I hope you continue to share the mischief with us and your son's excitement!
ReplyDeleteHe does get excited, that's the best part. :)
DeleteHe's so cute I want one
ReplyDeleteYou're creative x100 (those Christmas signs you just made are awesome). I'd love to see what adventures you'd come up with for your elf. :)
DeleteHow adorable! I love how it can be used for decorations too.
ReplyDeleteHe is a cute little bugger even when he's just sitting there. :)
Deletethis is the cutest idea! i wish i had the money to start this this year but will definitely be doing this next year
ReplyDeleteHubby thinks the little will outgrow the elf magic next year, but I think he's got another year or two left in him. ;) In any case, he'll be a permanent holiday decoration once the youngest does outgrow the fun. :)
Deletevery cute, love all the fun things we can do with the elves, no matter which one you have. Though sometimes I am afraid I will forget to change his place each night.
ReplyDeletehahha, the kids would so notice that too!! You made me laugh. :) I bet you'd do just fine. ;)
DeleteYour son is so cute! The elf sounds like fun :)
ReplyDeleteHe is a fun addition to the festivities. :)
DeleteI love how he colored Santa a picture. My daughter would have done that too :) Kids sure do love having an elf visit, don't they? It certainly adds a little more fun to the holiday!
ReplyDeleteWe're having a ball w/that elf! We're (as in me and hubby) are going to have to start taking turns because we're both full of ideas for the elf. :)
Deleteunfortunately i wasn't very clear last year and our "elf" became a regular play doll. oops. no magic there!
ReplyDeleteThey're cute enough to be regular play dolls. :)
DeleteThese are so adorable. I wish we would have had these for our kids when they were young. Maybe we can do so with grandchildren down the road.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll get one for my granddaughter too when she's a little older. :)
DeleteWe LOVE our elves! I've been busying cooking up ideas on where to put him and her. Oh the things we can come up with, but oh the memories we'll have. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's how we are over here too...hubby and I are having so much fun with thinking up the ideas! I'm glad you have an elf too. I bet the kids do love it!
Deletewe are having so much fun with our elf!
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't move and get into too much mischief, but he did bring broxton new lincoln logs and built him a house out of them for the first night :)
today he was fishing for goldfish!!! haha ha
(his name is Patsy.... after my grandaddy!)
It's fun thinking up things to do w/the elf. It's our first year having one, and I'm so glad we got it. Pretty sure I'll get one of these for the new grandbaby when she's a bit older too. :)
DeleteI'm so glad you told me about this! I forgot about Elf on a Shelf and I swore I would do that this year!
ReplyDeleteThis one's Elf Magic, same concept... he's really fun, and I think he's cute too. :)
DeleteThis is so darn cute. We are doing Elf magic but I think my 7yr is spooked by the whole thing a she said can we please not do the dust anymore at night? lol
ReplyDeleteI'm headed over to read about your elf. :)
DeleteI love love love Elf Magic..I always highly recommend their elves.. we have one,too.. Becky is a joy and a troublemaker all at the same time.. but gotta love her...
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have an elf, I have been recommending these left and right since we got ours too. :) It really was love at first sight. :)
DeleteWhat a cute Christmas ornament! Love that elf :)
ReplyDeleteHe's fun to hide, and he stirs things up a bit too. ;) Thanks for visiting. :)
DeleteI think this little fellow would be fun to hide around my house! He is def a cutie!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, Teresa. He is cute. :)
Deletethis is so much fun! i always love the ways you make memories with your family! i look forward to surprising piper with the elf in the years to come. i even thought about doing it this year...even though she wouldn't have a clue. haha. that's how excited i am about it!
ReplyDeletei hope you and your family had a wonderful thanksgiving. <3<3<3
We did have a fantabulous Thanksgiving, and the elf is fun, Maria. :)
DeleteSuch a cute little elf! We never got into the elf thing but I love seeing all of the mischief everyone's get up to!
ReplyDeleteI never heard of the tradition until I had the last little guy. This is our first time having one in the house, and he really is fun. :)
DeleteI'm just learning more about this elf thing. I must read more into it.
ReplyDeleteThis little one is pretty cute too!
I thought this one was cute too, and he's soft. I caught my son giving him a kiss this morning, lol!! Very sweet. :)
DeleteI have heard about this Elf on other blogs and I wonder where it started. It's cute but it has nothing to do with the "true" meaning of Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAgreed it's not, but also agreed that it's cute, and it was fun to do. :)
