Saturday Night

My favorite way to spend a Saturday night used to be going out with the family somewhere fun. That has not been true for so long now that it feels like a lifetime ago.

Today my favorite way to spend the weekend is snuggled up on the couch with the kids, watching a movie, and sharing some popcorn.    It's so true that it's totally the little things...

  1. So sweet and so true. It takes a little bit of age and wisdom to fully appreciate the small but important things in life . . . like spending quality time with those we love.

    1. Agreed. What I wonder is WHY does it take so long? Seems that should just be a given, but it's not.

      Thanks for the visit. :)

  3. My favorite way to spend ANY night, is just relaxing, at home, knowing all my loved ones are safe. A little snacking, a little TV, a little reading, and a LOT of gratitude! scain54 (at) aol (dot) com
