So sweet and so true. It takes a little bit of age and wisdom to fully appreciate the small but important things in life . . . like spending quality time with those we love.
Agreed. What I wonder is WHY does it take so long? Seems that should just be a given, but it's not. Thanks for the visit. :)
This is what I am doing tonight! I am watching a good movie, eating popcorn and sitting in bed all comfy under my blanket. This is the life. I hope you have as much fun as I do!
We do, Karen! It's one of our most favorite things to do. It doesn't hurt that my kids are some of my most favorite peeps in the whole entire world. ;)Glad you're cozied up watching a good movie too. Happy rest of the weekend to you. :)
My favorite way to spend ANY night, is just relaxing, at home, knowing all my loved ones are safe. A little snacking, a little TV, a little reading, and a LOT of gratitude! scain54 (at) aol (dot) com
I completely agree with you! Good movies + tasty snacks = quality family time.
The kids like it too. :)Thanks for the visit!
I totally agree, esp when weather is cold and or rainy
So true, and if it's snowing that makes the kids happy too (and I don't mind if I'm inside looking at it ;) ).
Totally is the little things. We have been out most of the morning and have my niece's birthday party tonight, but so wish I could snuggle on the couch with the girls and Kevin now, too after reading this!! Have a great weekend, Rosey :)
When the kids events run on the weekend it seems like they never get time to rest. I'm so so so glad there's no commitments going on right this second on the weekends. :) Great weekend to you too!
The little things are the best Rosey :)
Happy weekend to you, Launna! :)
Pinocchio...love it! Have fun!
My son's first time seeing Pinocchio too. :)
You are so right Rosey. These days I am contented spending time at home watching a favourite television show with my family. Have a great weekend.
Great minds think alike, yes? :)Happy weekend to you too, Judy!
Sounds like the way to be, just enjoying time at home without all the hussle and bussle out and about
That's a new movie too, for my youngest, which makes it even more fun. :) Have a good weekend, Pat.
I am with you all the way on this. Nothing beats snuggles on a cold winter night :)
I would not do well with an empty nest, I don't think. :) Good thing I don't have to worry about it for awhile. ;)
Best moments right there
That sounds better to me, too.
And the youngest loved Pinocchio! His first time seeing it. :)
Just put my little monster to bed after we were watching men in black for the gazillion time...I love to cuddle with him and laugh while watching movies....but I have to confess I wouldn't mind going out at night one Saturday night for a change, maybe dance a little and feel young and energetic again...some days it feels like that was ions ago, LOL!!!!..by the way that popcorn looks yummy...Hugs love!
Put that teen to work and go out!! :) That's my sound advice. :)
nice...we are on a weekend long date...and having fun...the kids at grammas....we did see the late movie last night though...12 years a slave...whew...hard movie
I haven't heard of it, I'm going to go look up a trailer. Glad to hear you've got a date weekend going on, how fun!
i'm with ya! :) i was just saying to steve, that where i love a fun night out...staying in and snuggling up with a good movie or a few of or favorite shows, dinner and dessert, is so relaxing and comforting. and you don't have to worry about getting dressed up or doing your hair. :)i hope you have a wonderful sunday, rosey! xoxoxmaria
Yay, I love when you're out and about! I'm headed over to see if there's a Piper update. :)
That sounds like my idea of a perfect weekend too :) especially if popcorn is involved!
Gotta have the snacks. :)
This is how we love to spend them too. Far more fun.Have a fabulous Sunday. :)
Easily a family fave (and I'm glad). :)
Sounds like a perfect evening for me... home and cuddled up under a blanket watching TV.
I like spending time with my family watching movies too :) With a big bowl of popcorn!
Gotta have the popcorn. :)
Watching movies at home beats theater watching in my opinion :)
Both are huge faves here, but if I had to pick one, it'd be home too. :)
Family movie night? I'm all over it!
Aww one of the favourite things I love to do with my family too! :) Ai @ Sakura Haruka
That is THE BEST way to end a Saturday. I just love cuddle time.
Same here! I love watching Disney movies with my little guy, but really he doesn't have an attention span to watch the whole thing. One day :)
It's also sooooo much easier! Saturday night Christopher and I made quesadillas followed by cookies and watch a couple of his shows on Netflix.
I completely agree! Things have certainly changed since the days before I had children. :)Have a great Monday.
I couldn't agree more..especially now with the holidays approaching...more time to snuggle and watch the ole Christmas movies....fa la la la la
I'm with you! Except for switch out the kids for cats haha. :)
I LOVE family movie nights... it is the snuggles that get me... soon he will be too grown to do that
That's what I do. They love this snuggle time. It is indeed the little things.
