Ozeri Digital Bathroom Scale

Disclosure: A sample of the product was provided to help facilitate the review. All opinions stated, however, are genuine and my own.

The numbers are on the Ozeri scale are large and easy to read.

Last year my son had to fill out a fact sheet in class about his mom. It was just a fun activity the teacher did that asked such questions as, "How old is your mom?" "What is your mom's favorite color?" and things like that... one of the questions was "How much does your mom weigh?"  My son wrote down, '35 pounds.' hahahaha. At that time, weighing myself didn't happen very often because I was having a hard time seeing the numbers on the scale. I did know my son was a 'tad bit' off with his number though. ;)

Now I am happy to say I can weigh in whenever I want to, because Ozeri makes this great digital bathroom scale with a widescreen LCD readout that I can see!! While I don't feel old, admittedly there are some things I have noticed diminishing in quality since I hit 40. One of those is my eyesight!  So while this scale is good for everyone, it is especially good for me, because now it is easy to see exactly what I weigh.  With our old scale I had to bend over and squint to see the lines, and I'm sure that made the measurement off a bit too.

You can see how thin the Ozeri scale is in this picture.

The Ozeri scale is sleek too! It's a smooth glass that is super thin, but still very sturdy (it holds up to 400 lbs.).  It keeps the weight on the screen too, for just a little bit when you step off, so you have time to look at it, write it down (if you are doing a fitness journal), or what have you. It recalibrates each time you step on it to ensure accuracy, and only takes a brief few seconds to offer up an accurate weight measurement to you.

Pros:
Thin Design
Sleek Appearance
Large Numbers
Step-on Activiation
Fast Reading
Accurate Reading
Holds up to 400 lbs.
Super Easy to Clean

This looks like a great scale. I always look for the big display so it's easy to read the numbers and thin so it fits better in my bathroom.

I've seen them around too. It's nice. :)

The big display is my favorite thing about it. The numbers are dark too, so they're easy to read.

This scale looks great. I have an old one that really needs to be replaced, so this one might work nicely :)

I tucked our old one under the chest in our bedroom. I will probably end up donating it. :)

What a good looking scale! I am currently on a weight loss journey and am in NEED to a new scale! I like this one!

I like this one too, Ashley. Good luck with your weight loss goals!

I know exactly what you're talking about with the having to bend over and see those ding dong lines! 35 pounds! LOVE that!

I love Ozeri scales. I have one of my own and it works perfectly. Love it.

That does look really nice! What teacher does weight on those things? They might need their heads looked at because age is plenty fine! My son told his teacher that I was 6 years old. One of my friends kids said that while she was at school, her mom spent the whole time talking to me on the phone while my son said that I waited in the line to pick him up :) Gotta love the things that kids say but I certainly am not telling my son how much I weigh to announce it to the class :)

mail4rosey said...

I don't have to bend over to see them anymore, woot!!

:)

mail4rosey said...

Hurrah, I'm glad to find someone else who has tried them too. I'm really happy to have this one!!

mail4rosey said...

I thought weight was a funny thing to ask too, but maybe she just threw it out their on the fly, I dunno. :) And your'e right, it is funny some of the things kids come up with...they do make for good stories later in life. ;)

I also got to try out this bath scale and I love it. I like the fact that you don't need to tap on first.

Gee, I don't know if I want to see my weight that up-close & personal Rosey. I like to pretend I'm the weight I wanna be. lol Looks like its a nice scale though. :)

I love the larger read out also. I have and ozeri scale and everyone in our family loves it.

Sarah-Louise Bailey said...

I love how but the numbers are sometimes it's so hard to read the dials on scales. x

Teresa McCluskey said...

Sounds like a perfect scale! I would love to own one since I am on a weight loss journey!

mail4rosey said...

This is my first time having a digital. I didn't know until I was reading around that you have to tap some of them. I'm glad you don't have to do that with this one too.

mail4rosey said...

Those great big numbers do say 'hello?' hahaha

mail4rosey said...

I'm very pleased with Ozeri! Thanks for your visit.

It would be nice to not have to wear my glasses when weighing myself!! That would be a big plus for me (and maybe an ounce or two less in weight?)

mail4rosey said...

That's right, Sarah-Louise, I don't have to mess with those dials anymore. I didn't even think of that, woot!

Lol, my boys always say funny numbers when it comes to guessing our ages or our weight. I really like this scale because it is compact and attractive.

Binky said...

The old digital scales weren't so great, but the new ones now seem to be very accurate.

Pam said...

I purchased one of their scales a few months back and I love it. I love it because of all of the features you mentioned but mostly because it is not heavy and because I can see my weight without my gasses.

Growing Up Madison said...

I love a scale that doesn't take up too much space. I currently have one that I use and while it isn't big I like this one better. Will have to check it out some more. Thanks for the review.

I love his response to the weight question. ;) My husband and I totally need a new scale; we have a super old one that is completely inaccurate. I love the fact that it makes it seem as though I'm ten pounds lighter than I am, but it would be nice to get an accurate read. LOL This one looks like it would be a great replacement for us.

I've never had a bathroom scale. I think the kids would be on it like flies! :)

This looks like a good one.

I am so excited to try this scale. I love that it is so unassuming and doesn't scream, "Hey, I'm a bathroom scale and the person who owns me is super worried about her weight!" Very nice.

Love that slim trim design. I really need a scale for my bathroom but I have carpet in it.

mail4rosey said...

Good luck with your journey! :)

mail4rosey said...

That's how I feel too, it was annoying not to be able to see the numbers with my old scale. :)

mail4rosey said...

This one really is great. I couldn't be happier with it.

mail4rosey said...

I like how slim it is too!

mail4rosey said...

Thanks, Mel. Agreed, Ozeri rocks.

mail4rosey said...

It's funny he picked a random number. Makes me laugh. :)

mail4rosey said...

hahahhaa, like the big tall ones at the Drs office, hahahha

mail4rosey said...

Def happy with the scale! Thanks for reading!

mail4rosey said...

I've seen them around too. Ozeri def. does make a nice product. Thank you for your visit!

Ohh, you're lucky not to get freezing cold feet when the weather's cold. Our bathroom floors can get downright chilly. :)

This looks like a great scale for me!

Kenya G. Johnson @ KenyaGJohnson.com said...

Wow that scale is skinny. Christopher wants to know much I weigh all the time to see if he's catching up. He will be taller than me before he weighs more than me. In the meantime I hope he doesn't give me a rough estimate ;-)

mail4rosey said...

I like how thin it is too, it makes it so easy to clean!

mail4rosey said...

I know!! I wonder if he used that number because he weighed 35 lbs for so long. :)

mail4rosey said...

Thanks, Katherine. It's a goody. :)

mail4rosey said...

He could give you an extreme underestimate like my guy did. ;)
