So many children enjoy crafts, and they especially enjoy them, I think, if their parents are doing them with them. The number one, most commonly stated reason from parents for not doing crafts with their children, is that crafts can be messy. Pom Tree has come up with a way to keep craft time fun, but eliminate the mess. With their line of products that require, no glue, no scissors, and minimal mess, parents and children can have hours of fun creating.

PomTree Sunnyside Up Market Kit |
We recently created two of their 3D structures, the Sunnyside Up Market and the Sweet Sundaes Ice Cream Truck. It is worth noting that all of the Pom Tree items come with a convenient reusable container, so you don't have to worry about storage, and all kits are able to come apart with ease and be rebuilt at your convenience. The foam pieces are heavy-duty and did not threaten to rip apart (a big plus for me!), and the colorful pieces are full of character and fun.
We started off building the Sunnyside up Market. This says it is for ages 3+, but I would recommend a little older. My son is 6 and needed help with just a few of the pieces, the others he was fully capable of putting together on his own. There were a lot of details included with the kit that made it special, such as cute tables and chairs, a refrigerator and stove, etc. There were also a lot of stickers included, which you can see my son holding in the very first picture above. The kit evoked imagination and my son is the KING of pretending, so he found lots of things for his little shoppers to do in the marketplace, once the product was finished.

Pom Tree Sweet Sundaes Ice Cream Truck |
Yesterday we opened up the Sweet Sundaes Ice Cream Truck. This one did go together/assemble very easily, and could be used, I think, for the recommended 3+ age group. Big foam wheels easily peeled off of a sticky side to keep the truck stable, and we set about to the decorating.
The pieces were big and chunky, which I really did like, and my son did this one mostly on his own with me sitting close by, popping out decorating pieces and listening to his commentary. :) The little bag of blue and pink poms (in the picture above) turned out to be his favorite thing because they turned into ice cream cones!
There's always something magical to kids about ice cream, or at least that's true in my family. ;)
My son was really proud of his finished products and they are still set up so he can play with them when he gets home from school this afternoon.
Pom Tree also offers a good variety of products in addition to their 3D Kits. Items are priced starting at as little as $5.99 and going up to the Sparkle Fun Playhouse Kit that is $19.99.
You can learn more about Pom Tree by checking out their website here: http://www.pomtreekids.com
One lucky Mail4Rosey winner, randomly selected by Rafflecopter, will get to choose one of the following items for their own (US entrants only).
