Short but Very Sweet

My visit to DC was short but sweet. Of course any visit where you see your child, his wife, and the grandbaby is going to be sweet.

It does my heart good to see that my son and his wife are both so naturally good with their daughter. She's a lucky little girl.

My son and daughter-in-law. We're having dinner at the airport before my flight back home.

And she's a good baby, which means they're extra lucky parents.

And while we're on the topic, I'm a very lucky grandmama. :)

Thank you all for visiting while I was away for a couple of days. That was awesome, supportive, and as always very, very appreciated. :)

She's a little cutie, and look at all that hair! I've got a secret for you... our thirteenth grandchild was born a few weeks ago, and the thirteenth is every bit as wonderful as the first! Too bad we don't get to see them as often as we'd like, though, huh?

They have their stuff so together. It's been a long time, but I don't remember being that together at their age!!

She does have some cheeks, Tammy. They're huge, and soft, and very smoochable. :)

Julie Maloney said...

Look at all that hair! She's adorable! Glad you had a nice time.

mail4rosey said...

I e-mailed my son today to tell him she had more hair than him, hahahaha. He's military no options, but it still makes me laugh. :)

Thanks for the well wishes, Julie. :)

Glad you had a good trip and got to see some family...it's one of the more important things in life, in my opinion.

Hope you have a great weekend and, in regards to the comments you left me, I would never think you senile...just a great commenter. Thank you :D

mail4rosey said...

Thanks, Melissa. Headed over to see the latest and greatest read over at your place. :)

mail4rosey said...

Thanks, Joyce. I imagine you're swamped about now if school started. Two more weeks still here. :)

mail4rosey said...

I wanted smooches too. She's already got her daddy spoiling her. She's little but smart enough already to let 'em know what she likes. :)

mail4rosey said...

Whew, thank goodness I have someone fooled w/the whole senile thing. ;)

mail4rosey said...

And thank you for the kind words x2 (see...senile, I could have put it all in one post. hehehe).

mail4rosey said...

Thanks, Cheryl. I hate living states apart, being w/my kids is my fave. thing to do.

mail4rosey said...

Thanks, Lizy. We took the little plane and they're always so much worse for turbulence. It doesn't bother me often, but it does not make my daughter happy at all. ;)

mail4rosey said...

Always. :)

Ah, the old saying is true, being a grandma really does rock. :)
