Fibre-Craft text-UR Foam 3D Kit (Review & Giveaway)

Disclosure: I did not receive compensation for this post. A product sample was provided to facilitate the review. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Who says you need to get out of the house to have adventure? Last night our family opened up the text-UR Foam 3D Kits we had waiting, and created a ton of fun, right in our own kitchen.

The best way to start out any adventure is to give flowers to mom. If you didn't know that tip, now you do, and your mother will thank you. ;)  The picture on the front of one of the packages had a flower, and little sweetheart that he is, my son set out to make that for his mama. The brown in the pot is dirt (of course). :)

Then there were Christmas trees to be made, yes, in August (I'm telling you, this is a boy after my own heart :) ). This was just the start of it, he continued on to make a star, decorations and presents too.

There were boats to be built...

This picture is blurry because my point-and-shoot will not allow for motion,
and these two cannot sit still when they're together.
And dads to be attacked (because you cannot have a boat, a child, and a father without some kind of play battle ensuing, at least not in our house). ;)

We literally spent hours playing and creating with the text-UR Foam 3D Kits. If you haven't heard of them, they're definitely worth giving a look, and I highly recommend them for purchase. They're made of a soft, easy-to-cut Text-UR foam (that is very durable, we did not have one rip) that comes in different textures (wavy, dotty, scaly, stripes, bumpy, & Terry Cloth). Included with the pack are many, many raised stickers (very high quality stick) that allow you to transform your creation into something 3D (very easy to use, and though my son did not do the 3D effect on every craft, the ones he did came out very cool, like the flower pictured above).

The text-UR Foam is a great way to inspire creativity, and a fun way to give kids a change of pace. My son had SUCH a good time with these. I think they'd be awesome for a gift idea, school, or just having something to do for fun (or on a rainy day).

One lucky winner is going to get to pick one of the following for their very own:

I think that any product that allows a childs imagination to work and allows them to make something themselves is great and I think that art projects are important for the advancement of learning and learning to appreciate other types of artists.

My Grandson is way into crafts. We took crafts with us on vacation and while his mom and dad were busy with the new baby,... we did crafts to keep him busy. He would love this.
