Kohl's has long been a back-to-school shopping stop for me and my family. I didn't have many readers last year at this time, but I blogged about it then too. :) When you've got good news about shopping, you gotta' share it. :) I don't have a Kohl's credit card, but my Mother-in-law does, and she combines the discounts she gets from it with the Kohl's Cash you get back from any order over a certain amount (credit towards anything you want in the store to use at a later date-$10 for every $50 spent) and always ends up with super savings. I do, however take advantage of and love the Kohl's Cash (no need to have a Kohl's credit card for those), and love 'em.
This year, I'm perusing the website (we go to the store in person to try things on, but I like to get a feel of what to look out for by going online first), and I came across these things that I think would be great for little man's first day back:
|Chaps Color Block Polo on sale right now for $13 (woot!)|
|Tony Hawk Skinny Jeans. My little one has no bottom, and I mean NONE, so skinny jeans fit him perfectly...like a regular pair of pants fit others. :)|
My daughter starts high school next month, so it's a big-deal shopping year for her. I learned two kids ago though, that you turn the teens loose with a budget to do their 'own shopping,' and let them bring you the items when they're ready to check out. That serves two purposes a). You don't get stressed out and b). They don't keep asking for more-more-more because they have a pre-determined budget. It's amazing how frugal kids become when they're spending their 'own' money. ;) My daughter always wants to go to Kohl's because she finds great deals for things she likes. I let her keep the Kohl's Cash her purchases earned, that way she can return later to get something she might have missed or didn't select at the time.
You can see the great prices and awesome number of selections by visiting the Kohl's website here:
You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.
