School's out FINALLY (well, almost)...

Hurrah, the last day of school is finally here!! It's just half a day, and I'll be spending the day at the school too, woot!  The elementary school is going to have a movie in the morning that the teacher made of the whole year, and then Field Day for the remainder of the time. My son is very excited, they've hyped it up pretty good.

My daughter went to bed early enough, but I heard noise in her room at 4 this morning and went to check...the child was wide awake in there.  -_-  She's sleeping now, but boy is someone going to be tired when mom goes to get them up in an hour or so. ;)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the end of the school year, and it's finally here. Seems like it took forever this year. Let the summer begin, wooooooooot!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

  1. We still go for another 2 weeks, but one week of it is make up days from all the snow days we had this winter. Our last day is the 27th, which is really late. I'm with you, though, I am dying for them to just get out already....the beach is waiting :)

    1. Field Day was a blast and the teacher made THE best video of the whole school year. It was very thoughtful of her to be documenting the whole time.

  17. The boys have the rest of this week and a half a day on Monday. They had several snow days this past winter, so they are getting out a little late. I love it when they get out of school..I'm just like a kid too I guess..I hope to take them on a few fun excursions and then we head to Maine for a week in August. Have a great summer! :)
