Flashback Friday

It's Flashback Friday! The kids are newly out of school and I forgot all about it. Luckily, I paid a visit to Chuck's blog (Secondary Roads), and he's posted it, so now I remember. :)

In honor of graduation, which is going on everywhere right now, I've posted an oldie but a goodie. I wrote it almost a year ago, and I still feel the same exact way.

Hey there! Just stopping by to say thank you for leaving a comment on my most recent post! Yeah, wasn't that tree gorgeous! It's in Florida (St. Petersburg) where we were vacationing. It was huge! The hubby had fun climbing in and what a great photo opportunity :o) Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

This is an awesome blog hop! I listed a post I wrote back in August 2011 when I was a newbie on the blog scene and it shows lol. Thanks I'll be linking up every week.

Funny how that lawn doesn't mow itself huh? lol

That darn lawn...
I actually love doing the lawn now, but it sure does grow fast. ;)

I am waiting for my son to start mowing the lawn! lol I enjoyed that post. I know I will miss my boys like crazy too when they are off to college....My son is going away to camp for one week....THAT will be tough for me!

Sad when the kids go off to college... but I bet the house does stay cleaner.

mail4rosey said...

One weekers are tough, I agree!! It's really hard to get used to the kids were they're not even in the house overnight for whatever reason. :)

I almost miss the mess, almost (and only because it would mean he was home). I always miss the child. ;)

I freak out thinking how empty the house will feel in 4 years when mine goes off to college. I will miss those messes, and refereeing fights with her sister!

LOL, it's the little things... ;) I just miss having him around, he's way too far away. Both of my big boys (or I should say 'young men') are too far away.
