A Tonka Toy :)

I don't think he would be comfortable in that car!

mail4rosey said...

I bet they still cost a lot to get around in though, the price of petrol was pretty steep.

mail4rosey said...

I was trying to imagine a trip to the grocery store, but I couldn't. Our salt for the water softener probably wouldn't even fit. ;)

Holy Ghost Writer said...

Those rinky dink cars aren't good for much

Susan Zutautas said...

My hubby is 6'4 and I don't think he'd fit in that car :) They look like they'd be fun to drive though. Happy WW!

Teehee! Welcome to London! I love these cars but they're TOTALLY impractical for most people. Having said that they fit in the smallest spaces and avoid a lot of road charges so there are perks.

This picture made me smile, thanks for sharing.

Probably easier on the wallet though (fuel-wise), if you have to drive everyday. :)

mail4rosey said...

He could drive w/his knees. :)

mail4rosey said...

Ah, you live in London, one of our most favorite places in the world to visit! :)

Pat Hatt said...

Not sure I'd ever want one of those, could never fit the cat cage.

mail4rosey said...

Got roomy digs for traveling do ya? :)

Manzanita said...

Rosey,
His knees would be in his face but you get a large key that winds these cars up, so it's OK.

They're such cute little cars, but I don't know how safe I'd feel in one.

Thanks for linking up with me at ARoomForTwoWithAView.com.

Have a great WW and the rest of your week!

Pride In Photos said...

I just got back from Seattle as you well know and they had these little cute cars there too♥

mail4rosey said...

He is kind of a clown... :)

mail4rosey said...

Safety is what we would most worry about too.

mail4rosey said...

Seattle looks gorgeous!

Chatty Crone said...

Oh my goodness! Sandie

Bev said...

LOL...looks like he wouldn't fit!

mail4rosey said...

The location was so prime, and public transportation so good, that we didn't need a car. Thank goodness. :)

Danielle Royalegacy said...

I think of these little cars as a driving coffin. If you get hit in it, they might as well bury you in it, because there is no protection.

mail4rosey said...

He might not. ;)

mail4rosey said...

They don't look like they'd hold up at all, do they? We're seeing them more and more here too, and a couple of people at my husband's job drive them to work everyday. I know I'd be scared to get on the highway with one.

Raising Reagan said...

So small aren't they?? My girlfriend has one of those little things and we recently took a trip to San Francisco. She wanted to know if I would drive {my SUV} or if we wanted to take her car.
Um ... no thanks! I don't like thinking I'm the one pedaling the thing!

I'm sorry, but I couldn't buy one of those. Looks like a death trap to me with all the big SUVs and all the trucks on the freeway. Would scare me to pieces. My hubby couldn't get in one either.

Have a terrific day. ☺

My Journey With Candida said...

LOL he is a lot bigger than that car. Kind of scary to ride in i would bet

Kristi Maloney said...

Yes - those things are so tiny. Ditto on what Sandee said - a death trap. Might as well drive a motorcycle and save even more on gas. (That's what my hubby does.) lol

Teresa Kindred said...

We have twins that are six foot eight inches tall. Wonder if they would fit? Thanks for linking up at NanaHood.com!

Oh I love it! What a hilarious comparison! :)

They do drive tiny cars in Europe :)

mail4rosey said...

LOL, and ooh, on the trip to San. Fran. :) I want to see the west coast. Out that a'way I've been to Vegas and that's it.

Cyndi Calhoun said...

Ha! Watch out for the bus, too. Haha. I want to drive one, but I'd feel too much like a bug waiting to get squashed. :P

Karren Haller said...

I thought I saw small cars in China, but this tops those,

Hope you have time to stop by this week and join in the WW fun!

Haha oh my gosh! He is bigger. I wonder how anyone fits in that car?! Since I'm only 5'1 it would probably be a perfect fit for me!

It should be pretty easy on gas!

It would be perfect for Malaysians! The average height of a Malaysian male is only 5' 5"!

Happy WW, sweetie!

Jennifer @ Mom Spotted said...

Haha! I was in a smart car in November when I went to LA. I was surprised that they were roomier then I expected.

Masshole Mommy said...

Hilarious. I would never, EVER drive one, but they are cute.

Mel@Mellywood's Mansion said...

As a tall person this car looks like a nightmare, great pic though :)

He sure is, that is one tiny car!
