    1. I bet they still cost a lot to get around in though, the price of petrol was pretty steep.

  2. I don't think he would be comfortable in that car!

    1. I was trying to imagine a trip to the grocery store, but I couldn't. Our salt for the water softener probably wouldn't even fit. ;)

    1. Probably easier on the wallet though (fuel-wise), if you have to drive everyday. :)

  4. My hubby is 6'4 and I don't think he'd fit in that car :) They look like they'd be fun to drive though. Happy WW!

  5. Teehee! Welcome to London! I love these cars but they're TOTALLY impractical for most people. Having said that they fit in the smallest spaces and avoid a lot of road charges so there are perks.

This picture made me smile, thanks for sharing.

  7. Rosey,
His knees would be in his face but you get a large key that winds these cars up, so it's OK.

  8. They're such cute little cars, but I don't know how safe I'd feel in one.

    1. The location was so prime, and public transportation so good, that we didn't need a car. Thank goodness. :)

  11. LOL...looks like he wouldn't fit!

  12. I think of these little cars as a driving coffin. If you get hit in it, they might as well bury you in it, because there is no protection.

    1. They don't look like they'd hold up at all, do they? We're seeing them more and more here too, and a couple of people at my husband's job drive them to work everyday. I know I'd be scared to get on the highway with one.

  13. So small aren't they?? My girlfriend has one of those little things and we recently took a trip to San Francisco. She wanted to know if I would drive {my SUV} or if we wanted to take her car.
Um ... no thanks! I don't like thinking I'm the one pedaling the thing!

  15. I'm sorry, but I couldn't buy one of those. Looks like a death trap to me with all the big SUVs and all the trucks on the freeway. Would scare me to pieces. My hubby couldn't get in one either.

    Have a terrific day. ☺

  16. LOL he is a lot bigger than that car. Kind of scary to ride in i would bet

  17. Yes - those things are so tiny. Ditto on what Sandee said - a death trap. Might as well drive a motorcycle and save even more on gas. (That's what my hubby does.) lol
