The Young Scientists Club (Review and Giveaway)

Disclosure: I received a product to help facilitate my review. No other form of compensation took place. All personal opinions stated are my own.

The Young Scientists Club has created many wonderful kits to help you get your child interested in Science via a carefully selected group of experiments and projects.  We received the Rainbow Science kit, featuringClifford the Big Red Dog. Because we have Cabin Fever from being inside so much all winter, we decided to take the kit outside for our first experiment. Looking through the kit to decide which project to do was part of the fun.

There were many options to choose from in the kit, and there were some really cool rainbow glasses. They looked like your typical 3D paper glasses but when you put them on, everything was rainbow-colored.

In addition to that the items that were included in the kit made my little one feel like an 'official scientist' as he set about filling test tubes, using the colorful lab tray, and measuring with the little cup that was provided.  There were many fun and educating ideas, including one called Colored Bubbles in Oil, another called Colored Bubbles in a Tube, and the ever fun Catching a Rainbow experiment (to name just a few).

Each kit created by The Young Scientists Club was done so with the following motto in mind:

The mission of The Young Scientists Club is simple---to offer children quality, science-related products that will fascinate them with the wonders of scientific discovery and spark their interest in future scientific endeavors. All our products are designed by a team of Harvard graduates, scientists, educators, and parents with one purpose in mind - to combine fun and fascination with quality and learning in each and every product.

The Rainbow Science Kit has also just won the Tillywig Toy & Media Brain Child Award, given only to "exciting products that energize the mind while seamlessly blending learning and fun."

I encourage you to take a look at the website and see what they have to offer.

One lucky reader today is going to get the chance to win one of the following kits (winner's choice):

Clifford Bubble Science
Clifford Rainbow Science
Clifford Kitchen Science
Ms. Frizzle and the Magic School Bus Explore the Wonders of Nature

You can learn more about these and the other kits they have available by visiting The Young Scientists Website. You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Pinterest.

This is a fun kit, and it's an easy way to get the kiddos loving Science early.

Happy day/weekend to you too!

I like: Set 9 - WH-925-1109
Magnetism (Kit 25)

Because my sons love watching YouTube videos on tornadoes. I don't know if that should scare me, or make me happy they are interested in them.

That looks so fun! I wish more of this stuff were highlighted in raising kids than TV shows you can have them watch and whatnot. Thanks for sharing your review! Seems like an amazing product!

How awesome! I would want to pick the Magic School Bus one, as Broxton is really into nature right now.. but since it says 5+ on it, I would probably go with the Clifford Bubbles or Rainbow... Hard choice though :)
Thanks for the review, I had never heard of them till now...
