Guest Bloggers?
The responses here and in my e-mail have been steady, so I'm revising this post to add a Rafflecopter form . When I wake up Sunday morning (March 17) I'll run it to randomly select the names. Please enter if you're interested. Thanks all!
Anyone interested in writing a guest post, please let me know. I've never asked so I don't know if these are popular or not. If we get together, I would need your post by the end of next week (so I can schedule them correctly). If I get more people interested than I need, I'll put names in a Rafflecopter and randomly select. If there's no interest, that's perfectly fine. I'm just planning ahead a little bit. I've got something coming up that's going to keep me off of the computer for a little over a week but I don't want to neglect the blog or the readers. :)
In exchange for your consideration of writing a post as a favor to me, I'd be happy to run your blog button as a Guest Blogger on the sidebar for 30 days.
If you are interested, please enter your name and e-mail in the Rafflecopter below. If you have any questions, you can reach me at mail4roseyblog (at) yahoo (dot) com. Thanks!

I wish I could, but sadly can barely keep up with my own life and blog right now. Especially with Aedan having Influenza B and me apparently now starting in with it. The four year old too... hoping it clears up ASAP
ReplyDeleteOh no, that stinks. If you need help in the next week holler, I have time.
DeleteI may be interested at some point but right now I can't eiter. I think it would be cool to swap guest posts on the same day.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a possibility in the future, thanks Terry. I've never guest posted before. :)
DeleteI would love to guest post hun! Will email you about it tomorrow
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for linking up with Friday Chaos.
Be sure to come back again this week & let us know if you would like to co host

Looking forward to your e-mail, thanks! :)
DeleteWell having my posts done almost to the end of May does give me time at my bay lol if you need some content the cat could whip something up, but I rarely do guest posts as I don't put any on mine, so don't like not being able to offer the whole tit for tat thing.
ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone could guest post at your place, your blog content is too unique and no one else would make your readers happy. Just my thoughts... :)
DeleteGuesting is totally up to you, you could write whatever you wanted, or promote your books. Or if you opt not to guest, that's okay too. :) This is going better than I thought actually (I have e-mails w/people potentially interested too, so I may end up doing a Rafflecopter to select...to be fair).
Shoot me an e-mail if you do decide in favor of the posting, I'm setting up a schedule on Sunday so you've got time to consider it further. And MAY???? Totally jealous! :)
It looks like you are finding people, that's good!
ReplyDeleteI know, I'm so happy about it. Thanks for the visit. I'm headed over to your blog now. :)
DeleteRosey, I am going to forward you an email I got from someone the other day. You may be interested in it ;)
ReplyDeleteGot, it Theresa. Thanks!
DeleteI'll help you out Rosey! What kind of post are you looking for?
ReplyDeleteAs long as it's family-friendly (and I know yours always are), the post is totally up to you.
DeleteI'm drawing names on Sunday through Rafflecopter (maybe sooner if I get too many names). :)
Thanks, Danni, you rock!
I would love to try this also!! but it looks like you have plenty of choices :)
ReplyDeletethanks for likin up with the hop!

I'm happy to put your name in the Rafflecopter, thank you!
DeleteFunny, I actually started emailing people the other day about guest posting for me while I am in california next month, so I would be happy to send one over if you want to do one for me next month? I have an awesome post on how to make homemade play doh that I wrote a couple of years ago that I think your readers might like. Let me know :)
ReplyDeleteI've got a good number of replies, so I'm going to go ahead and put up a Rafflecopter form. I'll put your name in there and if it comes up in the random draw, get back with you.
DeleteIf you're short on a guest post though, I'm happy to do one, just shoot me an e-mail and let me know what you want and by what deadline you need it.
That's something I usually get completely stressed about so I don't really do them, but clearly a lot of people don't get stressed because you got great response! I'm glad!
ReplyDeleteI've never done one or needed one, it could be fun (unless the blogger hates what I write, lol, then it could be highly stressful ;) ).
DeleteHi Rosey,
ReplyDeleteI would like to thank you once again for joining Linkin with my Ladies Blog Hop and for all the comments. I love to guest post here too.

Hurrah, I'm glad you're entered. :)
DeleteRosey! I swear you are a mega blogger. Is that a term? Well, it should be. You are a great example to me. Yellow paint? Oh my Mom's kitchen was always yellow. My kitchen is gray. I would rather have it yellow. hahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteI'm a pretty new blogger, but you're sweet. :)
DeleteI would love light gray in my dining room but hubby nix nayed it. I like the colors that go w/everything.
Thanks for this opportunity. I've done a couple of guest posts before and have loved it. It's great to 'meet' new friends. Best of luck to everyone.
ReplyDeleteThanks for putting your name in Christa. That's awesome!
DeleteHey Rosey! Thanks for stopping by NanaHood! I'm a new follower via GFC and Linking with the Ladies. Would love it if you would follow me back! Entered your contest too! Thanks for the chance!

I was already following you on FB, but now I'm following on Twitter too and I G+'d your post for today (because Pie for Pi is awesome). :)
DeleteThanks for entering and following.
Looks like your all set Rosey. But if that changes, let me know, I would be glad to offer a post for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kristi!
DeleteHIHI *waves* it's Mandy over at hkchic.blogspot.com. I read about your guest posting post, and of course that sounds reallllly awesome, except, i am not a good writer, and i am such an amateur in both blogging and sewing, i am afraid i wont bring you any readers :(
ReplyDeleteBut i am determined to do research about how to be a better blogger, so maybe one day we can exchange guest posts!!! :)
i am your newest follower on google+ now, somehow my google friend connect wont work ugh.....
I will be updating my other blogs (i have one for cooking, one for renovation) these couple of days, but after that, i will be back and chat!
See you soon *wave*
I'm already following but I added you to my G+. Thanks for stopping by. :)
DeleteI'd volunteer, but it looks like you have enough people already.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alissa. :)
DeleteHi Rosey! Thanks for swinging by my blog and leaving the lovely comment. I've entered into the raffle thing-y for the gues posting - we will see what God does with that, huh? Have a super blessed day!
ReplyDeleteHurrah, I'm glad you're entered. Thanks!
DeleteAwesome! Well, I'd do one, but I'm not sure my content matches up with yours. I will say, however, that your blog and content are fantastic! :)
ReplyDeleteYour blog is fantastic! I 'm coming over to see if you've decided to paint that barn scene or not...
DeleteRosey, seems you have a lot of responses already! I'm so glad.
ReplyDeleteI don't do guest posts, but I accept them.
I would eat my own head with anxiety if I write a guest post! It's sooo stressful for me.
If it's not perfect, then I can't share for someone else.
But I'm so glad you have some great responses. Maybe I should ask more :)
Good luck hon.
I didn't want to just ask people who might or might not want to do it because I didn't want them to feel pressured or annoyed. I thought this way was better. ;)
DeleteThanks for your visit. I always like when you stop over here. :)
Rosey, I swear that you are the queen of Give-aways! Awesome! Thank you for following me and keeping me on my toes.
ReplyDeleteYou like yellow (your post yesterday) because you're always so sunny, lol. That post was making me have Spring Fever.
DeleteI would love to spa guest post one day but at the moment I am not quite organized enough. Can't wait to see your guest posts :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. :)
DeleteRosey, I have never guest posted for anyone and am not entirely sure how it works. I'll be interested to see how yours goes. Cheers
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carole. I'm glad people have signed up, it will give me a huge relief during that particular week. :)
DeleteThat is awesome, I am interested definitely. Oh btw, there is this news that Google hates Guest Post and it will affect our blog performance (rank) so we are suggested to change the word (I changed mine) into Contributor or Author at the author's biograph at the bottom of the post content.
ReplyDeleteIt's always something, isn't it? Facebook has suspended me temporarily twice w/a note my account may be fraudulent. I had to take a friend recognition test to get back in. I think it's because I do the blog hops and comment on the FB pages sometimes (a few at once). Now I'm nervous to do that because I hate losing my FB page.
DeleteThanks for the FYI. Appreciated. :)
Such a wonderful idea! Hope you get some posts!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting The Active Mum
Aanie x
Thanks, Aanie.

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and entering!
DeleteBest of luck with your time away, hope everything works out well. I just added on to your rafflecopter.
ReplyDelete(I'm always open to guests on my blog.)
Thanks, Gloria!
DeleteHi Rosey good idea I just entered on your rafflecopter
ReplyDeleteThank you for entering, Miriam!
DeleteWhat a great idea to get someone to guest post for you. I am going to be moving over the summer from the United Kingdom back to America and my butterflies were swimming around thinking about what I was going to do. This is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cynthia. I think it's going to be fun to have guest bloggers. :)
