Every day when we're driving we see this leaning pole. I called it in over two weeks ago, & they haven't come out to fix it, so it must be hard to fix or no big deal? At least it's leaning away from the road.
It'll be a big deal if it goes down and takes the power lines with it!! Brrr! I've also noticed that there's just not the same sense of urgency there used to be.
There was a poor (huge)deer that got hit by a car here and was in the middle of a two lane road...people were swerving into the opposite lane to avoid it (which put them into the blindly-coming-over-a-hill path of the other traffic) --- people called for three days....the deer was finally moved after there was a head on crash. Luckily no one was hurt.
The lady on the phone sounded so sincere about sending someone out to take a look, so I'm putting my faith in her that she did. If it leans any further though, I'm calling again, lol
I saw artwork hung at Noodles and CO. The frame looked like the glass could fall out at any moment. I said something. They just said, "It's been like that for awhile." I'm like, "Well I just wanted you to know. It could fall one of these days and hurt someone."
Seems like they could do something, but maybe they can't when it's cold like this? I dunno... if it drops they'll have to do something. Seems easier to prevent rather than fix, but who knows.
Wow....are they waiting for a an entire neighborhood to loose power before they do anything?...better start storing gas for the generator....any minute now..LOL..have a great week...with power I hope! Lizy
oh no that would freak me out.. not only that it is leaning, but its power right? if it snapped and hit something... wow... hope they get to it soon yall be careful
It looks a little scary actually lol !!!

DeleteCrazy, isn't it?
Oi, they must be on country time.
ReplyDelete
DeleteLemonade? ;) Kidding... although we could be enjoying lemonade in the warm weather by the time they roll around to it.
Nice one!

DeleteThat's a neat picture you've got up on your site...you were lucky to get that one!!
Yikes - I guess it's not a big deal since they're taking their sweet time.
ReplyDelete
DeleteThat's what I'm thinking/hoping.
Holy Cow... that is leaning so far it is almost down. Maybe they are waiting for better weather.
ReplyDelete
DeleteI thought that too, maybe the ground's too frozen right now to do anything.
Yikes! It's not even leaning just a LITTLE bit...but a LOT lol. Hope it gets fixed soon!
ReplyDelete
Deleteme too!
At least it's leaning AWAY from the road!
ReplyDelete
DeleteI know, and there's no houses right there. I wonder if it got hit by a car or if it just started leaning...
Damn, but as like anything they won't ix it until it breaks for good.
ReplyDelete
DeleteCrazy thing, that...leaves you shaking your head sometimes, doesn't it. :)
Why worry? The wires will hold the pole in place. Right?

DeleteThat's EXACTLY what my husband said, with more than a tinge of humor, lol.

DeleteUnreal that there had to be a wreck before they moved the deer. That's crazy too...crazier even than this.
It drives me nuts when I see something I think needs immediate attention and they take their sweet time fixing it. Jeez!

YIKES! I'd want it fixed as well.

DeleteIt's the WORST when something is dangerous and intentionally not attended to, ugh, I HATE that
What if it snaps the wires one of these days? I hope they fix it soon!

DeleteOh! yes I see it like Liz says surely they have to fix it soon
ReplyDeleteHave a poletastic week LOL
I hope they fix it soon Rosey! We see this after a storm or hurricane! Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteI guess if it ain't broke, it's not a priority...I probably have half a dozen on my street alone!! lol
ReplyDeleteYou should give it a name while it's still there. :)
ReplyDeleteCould still cause some damage if that falls! Don't want to lose power anywhere!
ReplyDeleteYikes!
ReplyDeleteYikes! At least it's leaning away from the road like you said. Maybe it's on their to-do list :)

Oh I hope they get it before it comes down - be safe!
ReplyDeleteThis is bad, I'm surprised that they have not come to fix it. I wish they come fast and hope that nothing bad happens.
ReplyDeleteIf you have not done so yet, we would love to have you come share/link via our WWHop: http://www.craftyspices.com/hops/wwhop

Just wow... Thanks for sharing and linking up with me this week. I appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think they just shove the work of fixing something like that on to someone else. Then it just never does get fixed.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! =0)
