The house sitter has been secured, the weather cooperated, and we safely arrived in D.C. last night, woot! The kids (except the youngest) spent the night w/their brother and his wife (who we are here to visit), and I'm on my way to visit right now, woo hoo! The only downer is hubby is stuck in the hotel room all day w/the flu. :(
I hope everyone has a great rest of the holiday vacation!
See you soon!
Enjoy Dc I absolutely love it there. :)
ReplyDeleteI love it there too, but we all got sick and I didn't get to enjoy it this go around. bummer
DeleteEnjoy!

DeleteI have family in Bethesda and I grew up visiting them and DC, so it's like a second home to me down there. I haven't been there with my kids yet because of all the walking, but I definitley want to take them soon. Hope you guys have a blast!!
ReplyDeleteI have family in the DC area (my oldest and his wife), so we've been before too. DC really is awesome, and there is a lot of walking but the kids do love it when they get to go. SO much to see and do!!
DeleteOhhhh wonderful!!! I do hope hubby feels better soon so you can enjoy the trip with him!
ReplyDeleteHe decided instead to share it w/me. -_- Gotta love a giver. ;)
DeleteTotally not his fault, I know. I'm not a bit upset about it, just bummed because we see the kids so little (the grown ones who live thata'way).
Have an awesome time Rosey! And I do hope the hubby starts to feel much better real soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Theresa. He's STILL sick and we're home now.

She's a beaut (the mom to be), a great, great addition to my son's life and our family. We're lucky to have her. :)
DeleteI love DC, it is a great city to visit! I hope you husband is feeling better, it's no fun to be sick at a hotel.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, it's not, lol. I missed my own bed, that's for sure. I'm feeling better today and hubby's got a dr. appt. at 1:30. Thanks for the well wishes. :)
