The Hairbrush Story

Hubby likes the television running all night long.  I don't mind, and so it runs.  If he's not in the room though (he comes to bed a LOT later than I do if he's off of work the next day), I surf the channels for preaching to play in the background while I'm falling asleep.  I'm picky though, and only like to have on the ones I like, rarely giving anyone else a try.  Last night, I stopped at this gal, Beth Moore.  I'd seen her a million times, but always in passing because I usually just skip right past the channel if she's on.

Last night, two of my favorites were coming on right after her though, and nothing else was on that I wanted to hear, so I let the rest of her show just play. Now I'm so happy that I did.  Below is the story I heard. It's long, 8 minutes long, but it's crazy-good (at least I thought so).  And I'm glad I got to see it (so glad I'm sharing it here today :) ).

  13. I had a women's bible study series where we watch Beth Moore. I really like her too, and her southern accent. I've got 8 minutes (actually 20) before basketball practice, going to look at the video now. Thanks for sharing.

  17. It's possible to laugh and cry at the same time with such things. That was beautiful!

I agree with her: If we could be filled with God's power to the full, we'd be dangerous!!

    For his bride. Wow. Awesome!
