No Way!

I remember when he GOT his first tooth!

You can see the little one's first tooth in this picture.

Now he's five-years-old, and it's that exact same tooth that is loose, and oh boy, is it a big deal.
"What if falls out while I'm asleep?"
"What if I swallow it?"
"Will it go in my baby box?" (his sister has a tooth in there, no idea HOW the tooth fairy missed that one)
"What if it falls out while I'm at school?"
"I can't eat anything because I don't want my tooth to fall out."
"I'm hungry, I bet my tooth will fall out if I eat a slice of this apple."

LOL

I hope it doesn't fall out at school today, but I'm sending a little baggie with him, just in case.

A loose tooth already?? I can hardly believe it.  Man, that time went by fast!

Oh that's so exciting! My 5 year old doesn't have any wiggly teeth yet, but a few kids in his kindergarten class have already lost teeth, so he's DYING to lose one.

It most certainly does fly by, doesn't it? I hope he's able to bring that little tooth home if it comes out at school today.

Loose teeth are quite the ordeal in our house too.

Oh it just proves they grow up to quick

Loose teeth were always a big thing when ours were growing! They wanted to lose them at school though because then they could walk down to the nurse and get a little plastic tooth on a necklace to keep their tooth in until they got home!

Awww! Mica thought something was wrong with him when his first tooth was loose. I guess I didn't talk about them falling out. My bad.

They grow up way too fast! It's good to see them get more independent and do new things. It's also sad that they grow up so fast though. I hated putting baby clothes away. Especially with the 2nd. I knew I'd never use them again. :( I like seeing my nephew wear them though!

Awww how cute and exciting! My son is also 5 years old, but no loose teeth yet. He asks me ALL the time when his teeth are going to fall out lol. So funny how they look forward to it! ;)

Lily's lost her bottom two already, and adult teeth are about halfway in! She turned 5 in October. Her top 3 are wiggling now. I hope they don't all come out at the same time!

Losing a tooth at school is the best! Our kids get a cute little tooth holder to put under their pillows and everyone's attention. One of my students, dropped her tooth in the hall at school and ended up losing it twice. She was sooo upset, but the magic tooth fairy found it anyway and left her a lot of money!

The time does go by so fast. Just yesterday it seemed like my daughter was a baby and now she's twenty. Savor it as best you can! We find videotaping those memories so helpful... and hysterical! ;-)

What a cute photo! He looks the same. Christopher lost his first tooth in a hotel and I stressed about keeping up with it for our whole trip. I found it in my wallet months later. Hs second tooth fell down the drain and we had to write a note to the tooth fairy.

I think it's really fun to document our family with a photo journal...I'm sure you're doing something similar...enjoy these times!

They grow so fast! My oldest is 6.5 and keeps trying to make a tooth wobbly as he's yet to lose one. I'm looking forward to his toothless smile.

He still has that tooth, lolol, I think he's forgotten all about it now, when it was such a big deal. ;)

mail4rosey said...

It totally took me by surprise. When did that child get old enough to have a loose tooth??? :)

mail4rosey said...

Hahahaha, my daughter's 13 and I have one of hers in her baby box. She'll get it when she has a child of her own. ;)

mail4rosey said...

Pepper! Happy to see you. :)

I have one like that (second oldest) and he never would let well enough alone until the deed was done. He's still tenacious like that, and he's grown. ;)

Our tooth fairy doesn't have lots of money to give, but she's great w/coins. ;) Love the tooth holder idea from the school!

My oldest will be 25 in a couple of months. :)

Knockout wedding photo you had there, and Japan! I would love to hear about Japan!
