Firmoo Eyeglasses (First Pair Free!)
Firmoo is an online company that specializes in eyeglasses. They have many options in all areas of spectacles, including designer, prescription, and cosmetic. Firmoo also has a nice variety of sunglasses from which to choose.
One of the greatest things about selecting your frames is they have an online 'test' photo you can use, and it's pretty spot on. You upload a picture of your face (from the computer or your web camera), and select the point of distance between your pupils (easy to measure, or you can have someone else help you...we did both). Once the photo is uploaded you are able to select any frame you would like, as many times as you want, to see how they would look on you in person.
My husband has never needed glasses until very recently. He's just always had perfectly wonderful vision. As he begins to get a little older, however, seeing things as clearly is becoming an issue, so we got him a pair of glasses. The frames he selected can be seen in the photo above or seen here.
If you have your prescription already, you can just go ahead and order, or if us you need a new one, you can get your exam done at any local optometrist (we paid $60 to get one). Then the process is as easy as filling in the numbers and selecting your frames from the Firmoo website.
As for the actual glasses, hubby can absolutely see better with them, but they feel a smidgen 'off' to him, as in it takes a few seconds for his eyes to adjust, every single time he puts them on. That could just be because he's not used to wearing glasses yet. After he's had them on a few seconds, everything comes into clear focus and he can see things he didn't even notice he was missing out on seeing.
The frames are stylish, light, comfortable (even more comfortable than his favorite sunglasses), and a perfect fit.
Firmoo has a program in place where you get your first pair of glasses free, paying only shipping and handling. This is an offer that is good right now for all first-time customers, and here is a video to show you how easy it is to order:
Disclosure: I was given one pair of glasses, at no charge, to facilitate the review. No other form of compensation took place. All opinions are my own.
