Wonder Forge is a company that was started in 2007 with the admirable objective of creating fun, original games for children and families. The company has had great success and now boasts a total of 50 games, for all ages, that are sold nationwide and in four countries. Their games have been recognized with over 100 awards in just five years, which is amazing!! Congrats to Wonder Forge on such great accomplishments.
Four new for 2012 games that they have created are:
Who Shook Hook, an imaginative, fun game for two or more players, aged 4+, that leaves children laughing out loud as they try to 'grab the loot' Hook has stolen from Jake the Pirate without knocking the slumbering Captain Hook into the water below (where Tick Tock Croc eagerly awaits a slip of the hand).
The Enchanted Cupcake Party, for two or more players aged 3+, a game that offers matching and sharing at its finest as your young ones work to assemble the perfect cupcakes as directed before the sand timer runs out.
The Neverland Challenge, for one or more players, ages 3 and up, which calls for hands-on fun like balancing Jake's sword on your head, or getting the ball of the cannon under your chin just right so it doesn't fall. A fun game that encourages interactive play, with the winner being the one to collect more coins than Captain Hook.
And the Dazzling Princess Game, created for two or more players, ages 3 and up, who love to play dress up (and I've never met a little girl who didn't). Watch your little princesses have a wonderful time as they try to collect jewels to decorate their tiaras, rings, and bracelets.
Take a look around the Wonder Forge website and you're sure to find a game or ten that you love. Our family has (and loves!) The Joker Fun House, an excellent game for all Superhero lovers, where participants try to stop that rotten villian, The Joker (and his nasty pranks) before he can make it to his getaway car!
I've also been looking around their website, and think the Richard Scarry Busytown, and Curious George games look fun, and even my older children would love a Wonder Forge game or two, especially, I'm thinking Mythbusters, the game.
Take a look for yourself at all the great selections Wonder Forge has to offer. If you're still in need of some last minute shopping gifts (as a lot of us are, including myself!), take a look around the site, and see what kind of winner you can pick out.
Thanks to the generosity of Wonder Forge, one lucky winner is going to get to take home the first game I discussed, Who Shook Hook (thank you, Wonder Forge!).
