School's Out!

The best thing about school being out is the kids are home all day, every day, woot!

This morning after doing a few things around the house, the two youngest and I decided to go in the backyard to play in the snow!

The next oldest is here visiting from sunny Florida, and he opted to stay warm in the house.  Of course it didn't take long before he came snowboarding down the hill.  It's hard to resist having fun in the snow, even when you're grown...and even when you don't put on a pair of gloves.

And of course once the snow starts flying, it doesn't take long before everyone is involved.

No telling who won our snowball fight (I know it WASN'T me), but it sure was fun.  :)

How 'bout you?  Playing in the snow this week?

Wow! You got a lot of snow! It's so fun to get out with the kids. (Good exercise too!) I wanted to get out there today but my chronic sinus issues kept me inside....:(

That looks like fun! Last week was a good time to play in the snow here. This week is too cold! Burrrr.....

I guess I should add that with one having an ear infection and the other one and I having a cold it's best to stay in. Right now anyway. I do want to go sled riding sometime! We have a brand new sled that needs to be broken in.

You guys got a decent amount of snow, huh? We got our first snowfall last night, which only amounted to about an inch or so. The kids are disappointed, but I'm not complaining.

Fun! Fun! Fun!

And I see that your family has a gorgeous red headed gal, too. :-) Ours is our 2nd oldest Granddaughter. :-) And it looks like 'yours' and 'ours', have the same kind of GREAT red hair. :-)

Looks like you are having a joyous Christmas holiday with your family! What a blessing to have them all home! We're in Tampa, FL, so no snow for us, but we did have frost a few nights ago! Enjoy and God bless!

Yay! Your kids look like they had so much fun! It must be nice to have your one son home visiting from Florida. That look on your daughter's face in the first and second pictures is priceless. She's like, "mom, why must you take photos of me?". LOL. I hope to take Sofia out in the snow this weekend and see what she thinks of it :) Enjoy school being out and have fun in the snow!

My 9 year old was the only one who pulled on some snow pants to go out yesterday. I'm not a fan of the white stuff myself, but I do want to go tubing some time this year!
