A favorite memory is one of my daughter's early Christmas days. She was almost 2 and Pocahontas was her favorite video. She got a big stuffed Meeko (racoon) that was as big as she was and spent the day hauling it around!

I love that quiet time at night after everyone has gone to sleep, and I'm making the rounds...tucking people in, locking doors...and I pause and sit quietly in the dark by the still lit tree. That moment when you get to slow down, and give thanks for how blessed you are...just to be alive to be able to spend another holiday with your family.. priceless.

i am a single parent so my favorite thing about christmas is being blessed with another year to spend it with my kids and since i can not afford much by way of gifts, I usually bake and sing with them and just enjoy every minute
