Tiny Love (Review & Toy Giveaway!)

Tiny Love was founded in Israel in 1991.  The owners were very focused on creating toys and accessories meant to 'promote and maximize baby's development.'  They must have done something right because today their products are distributed in more than 50 countries worldwide!

Products are made with great care and focus, with both safety and fun  paramount in the process, and all of the products are designed and developed by a team of experts with developmental encouragement always in mind.  The quality is second to none, and they just look nice!  The bright colors appeal to me, and I'm not even close to being a baby (well, most of the time ;) ).

My two favorite items from their website (though there are many!) are the Super Mat and Follow Me Fred.  I will discuss both below:

The  Gymini Super Mat that Tiny Love created is very colorful and bright, which in and of itself would please baby, but it also is extra large so that you can sit on it with your little one and interact or play.  The cushioning on it is just right, not too much to thwart activity and movement, but enough for baby to be comfy.  It also has has a variety of activities and a mirror ( the little ones know a good thing when they see it, mirrors are always popular with the kiddos!).  What makes this even more terrific is that it's easy to take with you when you travel.  That means if you're out and about visiting, or are staying somewhere (maybe for the holidays!), you can take a piece of home (and familiarity) along with you.  The Super Mat can be used indoors or out, and it sells for $44.99.

The second item to discuss is Follow Me Fred!

Again, the product is very bright and colorful, and made with safety in mind.

No sharp edges anywhere!

Follow Me Fred is made for play, so he's nice and sturdy.  He has a lot of different textures going on, some that are soft, and some that are not...a combination sure to intrigue baby. And he's easy for little hands to hold.  The strong accordion middle allows Fred to not only walk in a straight line (which he does like a charm), but if you stretch it out and turn it a bit, allows him to walk in a circle too.  You just set him down, give him a little tap, and off he goes!  He can go fast or slow, you choose, and he's got a music button and a bark (every dog's gotta have a bark!) to entice baby to look his way.

The beauty of Fred, besides the things already mentioned, is that he is designed with developmental stages in mind.  Encouraging baby to crawl or move after Follow Me Fred is a breeze with this toy that is not only a sensory delight, but is also practical and fun (for caregivers and children alike).

Of course, it's also a perfect item to give to any little one for a holiday gift...and if you're giving to a family with more than one child (or you have more than one in this age group yourself), you can also purchase Fred's companion, Follow Me Fiona, the perfect companion.  How cute are they?!
