Mía Mariú Cosmetics Giveaway

Mía Mariú is a company that offers some interesting things.  First, they offer health and beauty products, and second they offer you the chance to become a part of their team, allowing you to receive a profit from sales, re-orders, and/or team sponsoring bonuses...and your participation also allows you the possibility of earning various types of trips/prizes.  They do not solicit you for the business opportunity if you order from their company, but please know it is available if you are interested, and you can find out all about it on the Mía Mariú website.

I was generously given the opportunity to select four of their products to review.  Of those four, the Mineral Eye Shadow Duo was my absolute favorite.  It is made with pure minerals and was my first experience ever with a mineral eye color.  I found it far more appealing than my favorite shadow (one I still love and have loved for years!) because it doesn't crease or fade.  And the best part?  It really had longevity going for it.  It looked just as pretty when I came home (after being out morning through afternoon) as it did when I left.  A+, 5-stars, loved this product!!  Another bonus is that the compact comes with a built-in mirror, so if you want to take a look at your eyes or do a bit of touch-up while you're out, this makes it a cinch.

Though the compact came with a dual foam applicator, I used the Multi-Purpose Brush No. 15 to apply the shadow, another of the items they sent me to review.  I prefer a brush because the larger bristles apply the color more naturally than a spongy applicator, and this one did not disappoint.  The bristles were firm but pliable and made the makeup application a breeze.

The third item I was sent to review was the Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara, which finished the look off nicely.  The mascara held up nicely throughout the day, but still washed off easily when it was time to remove it.  It does add a nice volume to your lashes, and noticeably lengthens and darkens them to enhance your natural beauty.

The last item I selected was the Hydrating Stick Gloss.  While I do like a variety of lip colors, a darker mauve feel appeals most to me, and that was what I thought I was getting with the color I selected, but in reality it came out a lot lighter than I had anticipated.  Keep that in mind if you are the winner of this giveaway when it comes time to color selection.  I did wear this for an entire day to test it, and the product itself was nice.  The color was pretty subtle, didn't feather, lasted quite awhile, and my lips did not lose moisture while it was on (I bet it will be really nice in the colder months).  You can feel it while it's on, but it's light and not at all greasy.

The product has Vitamins A, C, and E in it for nourishing your lips, and it has anti-oxidants for protection.
