Christmas Music (29 Days Left!)

Today is my fourth day posting a Christmas song to celebrate the season as we count down the days until Christmas morn. Theresa from Theresa's Mixed Nuts, mentioned Carol of the Bells so I thought I'd look it up and see what versions You Tube had for the song.

There were tons!  I am posting two...the first version is probably the most classic version:

And the second is an instrumental performed by ThePianoGuys (one word) that I thought was fun.  Hearing the cello made me want to buy tickets to a Christmas performance featuring strings.

I hadn't heard of ThePianoGuys until this, and I've already looked them up to see if they're coming to our area...which they're not. Boo.

There are lots of great holiday songs! I wish some people would do some really cool Thanksgiving songs. Ones that you'd actually hear on the radio.

I only know one Thanksgiving song. :)

Whoop Whoop! So happy you posted these! That second one was so fabulous! He sure looks like he is so happy while playing this song on his cello.

I love this song so much, my family gets to hear my version of this song year round. I just make up my own words to the music- "Where is my purse, I need my purse, Here is my purse, I found my purse" ect lol. It is quite annoying, but I just can't stop myself.

I think my obsession started when I was around 7 or so and this version came out in Claymation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=674ZPMoQLR4 I love a good humor video and insisted we buy the whole dvd just for this one clip. I make my family watch it with me every year and still crack up every time I watch it.

I love the Christmas season. I'm actually past the age of caring about the gifts, but I love the decorations and I love the music. These are great Christmas songs.
